For over 6 years now, I have endured false allegations by my children's mother of domestic violence and abuse. This is almost always used as a tool in gaining full custody of our children, in order to torment me even further. this usually results in at least a ten day 50b ex parte / restraining order keeping me away from my children who depend solely on me for love, stability and support. I have never abused or assaulted any woman or child ever in the entire 32 years that I have been on this earth. As of now I have joint legal and physical custody of my children but have recently been served with another bogus 50b and temp custody of my children awarded to the mother as a result of further false allegations. I am due in court in a couple of days to answer to these allegations in hopes of proving my innocence and providing a papertrail to expose the mother of my children for abusing the law for her own personal vindictive reasons.I am fed up with the arrests, fed up with having to post bond, fed up with the embarrassment of my neighbors seeing a police presence at my home periodically along with me in handcuffs! So far, nothing has ever come about in each of the dozen cases. They all result in dismissal. However, the stress of the ordeal, time and money lost, is a permanent scar. Domestic violence is a very serious problem in America. Let's help the ones who are truly in need of our legal system. Filter out the rest by proper screening and investigation.REPORT COMMENTS

Please help put a stop to women using false domestic violence claims to gain the upper hand in divorce proceedings! I am a good father and a hard worker who has never had a single crime charged against me in the past - but now I am locked out of my own home, and I don't eat or sleep. I am falling apart and nobody seems to be able to help me - because I am now labeled as a violent person. Through research, I am now realizing that I was in an abusive relationship with a BPD woman - when our relationship failed and divorce/custody topics came up - I was blindsided by a restraining order and a charge of domestic violence. This is real - and now I am living it. Men can be victims of abuse, and women have the ultimate power to subject men to some of the most horrific kinds of mental abuse through VAWA and false claims of domestic violence. my girl friend called the cops on me 3 times in 1 day the first 2 time i was not even home and she would call me and text trying to start **** when i did go home we argued for several hours she left and about 30 minutes later the cops showed up and arrested me i never touched her and the laws have made it to easy for women to lie have the man falsely arrested and they can get away with it some thing has to be done i know that some case are legit but some are not and all though the law should protect those who are being abused what protects those of us who are falsly accusedREPORT COMMENTS

Hi there, I have been a victim of false allegations, false and completely inaccurate hoax 911 calls made by my husband against me, when I did not even lay a finger on him. It has been me who had been threatened to sent to jail, emotionally and physically and verbally abused in the past so many times that I was too scared to even report it. I am working very hard to sustain my career after long years of gruelling studies and these fake 911 calls are setting a trend against me. I do not wish to end my marriage and want to protect my career, thats the reason I always kept a low profile and tolerated all shoutings and torture. But what do I do as ke keeps scaring me and the cops tend to beleive him because of all the lies he state don these calls. Can an innocent wife be punished for soemthing she did not even do? What legal options does this wife have against whom these calls were made without even her knowledge, infact the most shocking part is he made a few 911 calls when even I was not at home. This happened to me in Bennington Court! Even though proof was provided by me that my ex had perjured herself repeatedly, Forged my name on bonds that were not hers to cash or use and accused me of owning a firearm that I do not own or have ever had. She had me falsely arrested. NO action was ever taken against her by the district attny. Fair is Fair and the laws should apply to all equally. My ex and I got in an argument in the middle of the night and we decided together it was best for her to go home. She was not living with me at the time. When she called her son she told him I had pushed her around. I now face DV charges with no evidence except for her word. If this was any other charge the police or prosecutor would expect evidence. Domestic Violence laws are "Abuse Against Fathers in Custody Cases", In Illinois fathers are being served with Orders of Protection in Custody cases. Mothers are using the laws as atool to gain custody, false allegations are allowed in IL. I had several filed on e and all were dismissed causing me financial harm by hiring attorney and emotioal stress. My child's mom even said tha her lawyer told her to do it, other mothers are even saying that lawyers are suggesting they file orders of protection against father to gain advantage. Lets have rights to protect father from abuse. The laws/system are accessories to this abuse. My childs mom called dcfs saying she thought i was molesting chid at 2 yrs old, loss visits for several months and had to go thru investigations and thru court system to get visits back. Mother testified that her lawyer gave her the ideal to make allegations. This same mom that accused meof this turned right around a year later and offered to sell me extra visitation with child for $55 a day. I had asked for extra visitation time and she said I can have all the time I want for $55 a day. Sad, she is trying o use a child as a tool to financially load her pockets and nobody cares.REPORT COMMENTS

(Domestic Violence) laws has merit and justification, but it dose have flaws that allow for the innocent to fall through the cracks. It?s a law that can be abused and many times it is, for the very nature of its general structure. How can a law be structured under general rule by ?State Legislators? and not allow for ?Checks and Balances?? A revised amendment should be made for unproven claims. Why must an innocent victim be incarcerated, and forced to acquire expenses that only enhance State Courts and their budgetary coffers? It seems the innocent help pay for the domestic violence programs. If that?s the case, the Court?s doesn?t care if you?re innocent or guilty. That only benefits State Courts, and it allows for legal abuse. When there is a domestic violence charge in question, why doesn?t the presiding judge allow for a personal interview with the investigating officer if there are any merits to a claim? Without ?Checks and Balances? the innocent will pay. That only benefits State Courts, but not for the plaintiff or the defendant. In my case the Magistrate only had to interview the investigating officer to determine justification, and merit as to whether there was just cause.REPORT COMMENTS

Short version of the facts: My husband acquires custody of his children and Ms. C (his children?s mother) accuses him of threatening to kill her and their children. My husband gets arrested under false pretences and we have to pay a ridiculous amount for his bail. Social workers finally get involved only to harass and do not include anything we told them in their first report, including the fact that Ms. C is a drug addict, that she was the one abusing my husband, and that her 16-year-old son bullies my husband?s son, who is five years old. We fight the case against the social workers and suddenly Ms. C asks for the case to be closed after she tested positive as a heavy user of marihuana and incompetent to care for the children but she was still allowed to keep them with her. While my husband intended to be heard in the children?s court, she testifies in the criminal court. She retells her story and why she never called 911(??she didn?t know she could!?) until a social worker came to her home and advised her that she could call 911. Even though a year earlier she called 911 on him trying to keep him from leaving out of state, she explained to the DA that she had lied and she had called because she didn?t want him to leave. As well as she had called 911 on him at times she felt my husband didn?t do what she wanted. The cops would come and found no crime was committed. After Ms. C testimony, the courts dropped some of the charges against my husband ? the ones about threatening to kill his children, but not the ones she accused him of. Now, she went to another court to try to get child support and has lied to the courts to get the judge to grant her $1,800 a month. My husband has no job and has not been able to get a job because of these criminal charges. And after a year, his lawyer says nothing of the proof he has provided her and the DA lies to the judge about cases that have no merit in this case. This not only makes me feel helpless but as a women guilty for the laws that protect us as women. These guilty feelings for the laws protecting so many women, because of the men who are being abused by women never get their fair day in court. My husband has been trying to fight for his freedom as he has been guilty?until he proves himself innocent ? because he is innocent. Not only is he innocent but is the tenderest, well mannered, peaceful, and caring father and husband.REPORT COMMENTS

My fiance has been trying to divorce his wife for over a year. This woman has stalked me in person and through my web accounts my space and face book. She slanders me on her accounts and acts childish every chance she can. She will contact my fiance with remarks like well she said this and it is about me. When in reality it is a comment like "life is like a game of chess". We have let this behavior go to speed up the divorce (right). But recently she has been hurting the children to get back at me(?) These are not my kids. She refused to put socks on her youngest daughter causing the child to have it's toe nails fall off. She starves the child and gives it laxatives to cause damage to the child to get more attention. She was even refusing to put underwear on her children. Which then possibly caused the eldest to get a urinary track infection. All communication from me to her has been about her children's well being and the property that she is allowing to foreclose which is ruining not only her credit but my fiance's. Recently she allowed her children to come to our house 3 weeks in a row with lice. I tend to be a bit of a clean freak and I went through the house relentlessly. The issue may not have even bothered me as much as I have my own daughter who goes to school. The school wouldn't allow my daughter to go to school till all the knits and all the eggs were gone. She missed 4 days during all this. I then took the girls to their doctor who then prescribed medicine to get rid of the lice and recommended that we cut the eldest hair. Her hair went the whole way down her back. When the hair was lifted the bites were visible on the child's neck. Taking a child to a licensed barber is illegal if they have a communal disease. So I cut the child's hair. Which at the time the girl was glad to have done. But upon arrival a the mothers the story turned into I beat the kids and threatened them and I am abusive. This woman tells her children to destroy our house and hurt my daughter physical and emotionally teasing and making fun of her. I am sick of it and if it.REPORT COMMENTS

It is unbelievable that such an obvious dysfunction of the justice system is being ignored for such a long time while every one knows about. Stories of this kind of abuse of the justice system are all over the news and both the DAs and the false accusers are getting away with these horrible crimes. In a way, the justice system is an accomplice in such cases. My ex wife also accused me of False Allegations which have hurt my successful career, has defamed my reputation, and has "Parental Alienated" my daughter and has kept me from having a normal relationship with her. Just like the other people here, she used the system to achieve her goals. She has filed 6 false TRO, which were all dismissed, since our divorce 10 years ago. This was all done in an effort to interfere and destroy my relationship with my daughter, whom I love. Then to top it off, knowing I had a registered gun in my home, she made a horrible false accusation, with malice, that I had pointed the gun at my daughter. These were 3 serious felony charges, which were all also dismissed. I had never in my life been arrested before this and it was done in an attempt to ruin my relationship with my daughter. After 1 and a half years of my life on hold fighting these embarrasing false accusations, they were all dismissed. Now I have decided to fight back. After the last TRO on Nov 22 2010 I have filed several charges, which is what I reccommend all of these victims to do. I filed a Defamation of Character lawsuit. I went to the police and filed a report of her filing false police reports and am trying to get a perjury charge against her and now last week I filed harrasment charges against for harrassing me with her false Temporary Restraining Orders and all the rest. It is the only way, to fight fire with fire. Anyone who files false police should be prosecuted and the same way these false accusers are so persistant to file false charges, you must be persistant in getting justice by charging them for making these false charges. I have spent amost (14) month in broward county Florida jail on a false claim of domestic violence. Ex-wife attend an evaluation for the children it was found that they were developing poorly. In order to get a leverage she testified that her jaw was broken in two places. I went to trial twice on the the same set of lies with out any manifest nessicity .
