Stop the Destruction of our Historic Monuments
These last few weeks Americans have watched with horror, the desecration and destruction of monuments, statues, and historic buildings in the name of protest.
We are outraged that ANY political party or representative would condone the wanton and violent destruction of our country’s history. Any SANE American understands that we need reminders of both the good and bad actions of ANY country so that we can learn from them.
It is time to put a definite stop to this, to enforce the laws against this destruction and to open up avenues to RATIONAL discussions about the fate of these publicly owned monuments. We also need public statements from our representatives calling for an end to this scary destruction.
