Happening right now in Joliet, Illinois. Young child speaks up, ( hearsay)! Reports from Psychologists, advocate office, ignored. Feel like child has no rights, first visitation abused again. School notes of personality charge unheeded. DCFS never interviewed Father. Police wanted to speak with him, many attempts then a faxed note from lawyer stopped investigation. Mediator request never reacted on. Just more money and child is not being protected. Wondering if any child's voice is heard. Why have a Child Advocate Office that works so hard for child, if it ends with a voice not heard in system. I believe the above statement to be factual although I am not fully involved. -

My son and I were abused for 8 years by his father( a man I never married. There were numerous police reports, even one that involved my son, but he never went to jail. I got the nerve to finally leave him with the clothes on our back and I filed emergency custody and was granted that. After 4 years of fighting, his father and new wife brainwashing my perfect son, so much money it could of put him thru college. There were tales st four different judges and the last one was clueless of the situation, she listened to his lies, the judge who was suppose to protect my child denied a guardian of litem. Now, my son lives with them and they have convinced him I hate him, he cries himself to sleep, he is afraid to tell me anything because he is afraid of his father and the worst part is he is only 9 years old.They have refused counseling either just my son or my preference myself and my son. It's gotten completely out of control and I don't know where to turn to. I pray for an attorney who can help me help my son and bring him back home.REPORT COMMENTS

I am from connecticut and my abuser took my little girls away 5 years ago. They try to speak out but no one listens. They have been motherless for 5 years now 13 1nd 16 years old. He leaves them alone every weekend "find a place to stay" he is abusive physically, verbally, emotionally, sexually. DCF wont listen to them without evidence though I have seen bruises when on a supervised visit though there is nothing wrong with me. Makes sense right? Please bring these children home to their mothers. It is illegal and happening every day in america.REPORT COMMENTS

Someone very dear to me is going through this as we speak in Pennsylvania. A notoriously destructive and biased judge along with an incompetent court appointed psychologist refuse to hear and acknowledge evidence of abuse and are ordering unsupervised visitation rights to an abusive and mentally unstable parent. It's heartbreaking and criminal. I am outraged to witness the perverse version of family law that my tax dollars are being used to uphold.REPORT COMMENTS

What about the court evaluators making recommendations for the children to go back to abusers. This is apart of the bigger issue too.. We have all had the evaluators ignore evidence of abuse due to abusers with money. It needs to stop they are required by law to report abuse. I supported this petition, and received a response from Senator Milkuski, and she promised to do a better job for her constituents and still did nothing. However, it did not end with her. I continued to fight and was able to catch a State a Judge in Maryland in the act, and thankfully he violated a Federal Judges order, and cannot pretend that his actions were not intentional hate crimes. I have not been accused of any abuse or neglect. I just didn't have an attorney and since my ex had plenty of money saved from not paying child support or alimony he could afford as many attorneys as he wanted. My daughter is in HELL! My situation has been going on fro 7 years. I have exhausted every resource in my town looking for help to protect my daughter from her emotionally, physically and mentally abusive father. Everyone including CPS has basically told me my daughter needs to be physically harmed for them to help me. Jason Raines is his name and he has done a number of awful things to my entire family. He has exposed his genitals to my daughter, he has physically attacked my parents, my daughters grandparents while my daughter was standing in between them. He has tried cutting bras off of her body with scissors and also got thrown out of the public library with my 7 year old daughter which embarrassed and shamed her and she loves the library. He gets away with all of this despite me constantly reporting it. Just last week he attempted to take my baby girl from her classroom at school and thank god the school staff is so amazing. The principal had to physically stand in front of her classroom door to keep him from getting her. He was escorted out by police and and school security with only trespassing charges. I need help! My daughter is scared to go with him but knows I will get in trouble if I dont send her. This is awful.REPORT COMMENTS

Judge dissmis case two times saying she is to young to tell why he does this.
