I have served in this unit from its inception. You will save nothing by taking the aircraft from the national guard. The experience you will loose is not measurable and will be an expense we should not have.Feb 3rd, 2014Someone from Bountiful, UT signed.

My brother has worked his butt off to drive an apache. He loves his job and works hard to work and defend our country. Please keep the apaches in the national guard!REPORT COMMENTS

National security is threatened significantly by government debt. Increase national security by appropriating funds where they get more bang for the buck! Invest in the National Guard to keep America safe at a reasonable cost.REPORT COMMENTS

This decision to take the Apache's from the National Guard is being made with extreme haste and without appropriate analysis of costs. And if our military government and Congress do stop and evaluate, and listen to the American Public...certainly they will dial in a clue and not do it.....but then, them having a clue has been very questionable for a long while now.REPORT COMMENTS

I know for a fact that the National Guard is more efficient and more capable of handling all aspects of the Apache helicopters than regular army. My son has currently returned from Afghanistan and said the regular army took over for them and only had 2 Apaches up and running while his unit had all up and running. If this isn't a testiment...then I don't know what is!!!! And this is during a time of war!!REPORT COMMENTS

We could operate 4 Guard units at the cost of 1 Active duty. How is this even being considered? We should be having the exact oppostie conversation.REPORT COMMENTS

I can't understand how penalizing our National Guard by stripping them of all their Guard Apache Battalions would be beneficial to our country. Why should the Guard pay for the inefficiencies of the active service. If this is allowed then where will it stop. We cannot afford to sacrifice the National Guard's Apache Battalions that have proven to be much more experienced, cost effective and reliable.REPORT COMMENTS
