Please change the law give everyone a chance!! Serving only 65% of their time is more than enough rehabilitation time. the rest of the time is wasted tax money. Build new playgrounds, schools, shelters and organizations and programs to help when the ex cons re enter society. Help not hurt -

Many of the inmates that are in these federal prisons are carrying out sentences for "white collar" crimes. Those people are non violent and some of them are in there for time way longer than violent offenders. Cutting down the time would save the government much money. Many of these people would be better off at home with an ankle bracelet saving tax payer dollars, and having their own families taking care of them.REPORT COMMENTS

Please pass this. My son was given 27 months for a non violent crime. He has never been in trouble. Was on pretrial probation for 20 months before being sentenced. He has no issues on probation. There was no evidence against him other than another person who was charged saying my son was involved. He truly doesn't deserve this sentence.
