This is just wrong my mother was sent there on charges of not snitching which in return means she possibly saved her family an self from harm and this is what she gets??I understand she might have done wrong but never once deserved this at all I can't wait til one of the feds or judges family member goes through this they will sing another tune! But we all know that won't happen just as.much as my opinion won't but god have mercy on the ones who know about this an is doing nothing ur day will come.when u go to hell for not.helping. when u could have ! -

i feel that theses conditions are an outrage and something needs to be done as soon as possible no one should live like that my sister was sent there march 14th and i do not want her to get sick and ill from the mold and all and no one should eat green meat but im sure all the employees go home to a good non green meal her crime was not that bad so lets get this fixed A S A PREPORT COMMENTS

I just left there on dec 27 there is so much mold I got really sick there and the doctor told me to suck it up I shouldn't came to prison well I didn't plan on coming to prison in nov 20 we had inspetion we had to hide stuff so it would pass they treat you like dogs wait dogs do get treated better there they at least have air in the summer and heat in the winter!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Very interesting. I have a friend that has been there about 2 months now. She said the window in here room is stuck open, and it is currently below freezing outside. She was sentenced there due to personal health issues, but I just found out today that this is not even a medical facility anymore. The woman there said the "judges are always confused and sentence there anyways." Unacceptable!REPORT COMMENTS

I did three years there in 1994 to 1997 when they finally transferred me to an FCI in Florida. The conditions there were horrible then! The bldg is delapidated to say the least. My wife has been in Atwood facility for almost 14 months of a 36 month sentence. She has kept herself busy with classes and hobbies and appears to have adjusted as well as can be expected. The only complaint I have heard is the lack of air conditioning in the building. I visit at least twice a month and find that in the fall. spring and winter months it quite comfortable in the visitation room BUT in the summer months it gets quite warm. I am offended by the comment about these women only looking for early relaease as i do not believe that is the case. Maybe that person should make a visit and see what this is really all about.REPORT COMMENTS
