To ruin the life of an 18 year old, booked for an unpaid ticket, and now has her screenshot online for the rest of her life.. are you serious? This is barbaric, it needs to be illegal.REPORT COMMENTS

I convicted via probation adjudication. This means that though I was proven guilty of a crime, the actual reason for my incarceration was through a much shortened process that is more about proving your innocence than proving that you are guilty. I have led a stable and clean life since then as I have seen the error of my ways. I am a college educated veteran who cannot find work for anything more than minimum wage due to my felony will continue to punish me for the rest of my life. Websites such as the kind that profit off of shaming and reminding the public of the deeds we have committed in the past damages our chance at becoming successful husbands, fathers and members of society. I have paid my debt to my victim (they supported my release), I have paid all fines (over $200k in restitution) and served over 5 years in the Texas corrections system. As we have so much stacked against us in this digital age in which no one will ever see what we have done to correct our mistakes, having this act as another brick (one thatt costs $600-1200 per website to remove) is unjust.REPORT COMMENTS

I know its just a matter of time before these operations burn to ashes. America is being taken advantage of and the good people are being waylaid, and we're over it. These alleged "businesses", are genuinely evil.REPORT COMMENTS

Mugshot websites operate through extortion and blackmailing. It's cyber terrorism and bullying. How anyone can be allowed to profit off of humiliating photos even when people are innocent is just plain wrong and should not be allowed to continue . It's nearly identical to kidnapping or taking a hostage for ransom and revenge porn!REPORT COMMENTS

Simple solution to all you people who have mugshots posted online. Try not getting arrested and you won't have anything to ***** about. Mugshots and arrests are PUBLIC RECORD and INFORMATION. Not even congress can help you on this one, it's a lost cause.REPORT COMMENTS

In 2013, my daughter who suffered from schizophrenia, blindness, alcoholism and other health problems threatened to hit me, so I called 9-1-1 as a precaution. She then calmed down and I was able to leave peacefully. I called 9-1-1 on my way home to cancel the emergency, but they sent an officer out there anyway. Under pressure from her drug pusher husband, my daughter lied to the officer and said that I had pushed her, though she admitted she had no marks or bruises. With no evidence of assault and no prior history of assault, the officer still had me arrested. Later, the charges were dismissed and expunged, but not before my precious daughter took her own life. I loved her very much and was an important part of her support system. Although I have contacted mugshots.com, Google, IC3, and Amazon Technologies who hosts mugshots.com and sent them the court order expunging the charges, they refuse to remove my mug shot.REPORT COMMENTS
