Defaulted Student Debt should stop being a several trillion dollar a year profit for our government when you have bailed out the very banks that gave kickbacks to Universities for promoting their greedy product. Please restore bankruptcy protections to students who will never shovel out from under debt even when receiving social security and medicare as senior citizens. We cannot keep robbing the helpless and bailing out corporations.REPORT COMMENTS

The entire fact that our government makes a lucrative profit of the backs of students, who are a vulnerable group of citizens, is a shame and the founding fathers are raging in their Graves over this extreme abuse of power, return ALL the Fair Debt Practices to student loans.REPORT COMMENTS

A new, fair system needs to be put into place. It is impossible to "follow your dreams" if you're sacked with unrealistic debt to make that happen. Further, people are forced to gamble on an education becoming lucrative enough to pay down such huge debts incurred from getting said education. A higher education should not have to be decided on whether one can afford it - similar to public primary and secondary education.REPORT COMMENTS
