The very first step to a solution to the now estimated $1.3 trillion student loan debt that is growing $3055 a second is the reinstatement of student loan consumer protection rights ! There will be many more solutions need to to an outdated student loan system in need a of real checks and balances system that holds all parties accountable not just the student! Bankruptcy rights should have NEVER been removed from ANY student loans. Congress must, AT A MINIMUM, pass this important legislation.
