I drove a school bus for 11 years and it was almost a full time job to keep the bus clean. It was also very expensive; buying cleaning products and products to deodorize and disinfect the bus.REPORT COMMENTS

If the outside temperature is 100, it is 115-120 inside a school bus even with all the windows down. That is truly awful as i have experienced it for over 20 years as a school bus driver in council bluffs Iowa. Please give us all A/C!! Thank you!REPORT COMMENTS

It gets so hot on the bus! As soon as I get my bus to start my runs, my bus is like a sauna, so hot I can't even breathe! With windows open as well! I have a toddler I bring with me and he refuses to sit in his car seat, because it is too hot. I have to bring ice packs and stick them under the fabric of his car seat just to cool the seat down . The bus is metal, so if it sits in the heat all day, the sides where the kids sit near the window are as hot as a playground slide, I'm afraid a child will get burnt. While waiting to load all kids, and waiting to leave the school, the kids are starting to sweat, not to mention my toddler and I! It's unbearable at times!REPORT COMMENTS
