These acts are already doing great damage to elderly foreign born American citizens. For many of these citizens it is imposible to get a photo ID or passport. They are told that they can have a passport if they can get a photo ID. Then when they apply for a passport they are told that they cannot have a passport because they don't have a photo ID. In effect they are being told to go chase their tails. This kind of Government harassment is totally unamerican and unacceptable.REPORT COMMENTS

I urge you to repeal the Patriot Act and the Real ID Act. These documents are a danger to our liberty and our nation as a whole. Look at the history of the world and see how laws like these have only served to disarm and render helpless the people of a nation. This country is a nation of freedom this republic has lasted for centuries and I see it dying before my eyes. Pleese I beg that you remember your oath to the people. I beg you do not let the sacrifice of the thousands of men and women who have died to keep this country free be in vain perserve liberty and our constitution stand up for the people be who we elected to office. However unpopular it may be. Mark Twain said "In the begining of a change the PATRIOT is a scarce man and brave and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds however the timid join him for then it costs nothing to be a PATRIOT." I stand with you in throwing down these acts of Tyranny they are not of safety we must change back to the nation our founders built for us where all are free not subject to the evils of tyranny.
