I suffer from pain every day I wake up in the middle of of the night from pain, my daughter whom is disabled born with a rare brain defect called Semi Lobar Holoprosenmicrocaphaly affects nervous system and motor skills along with many other health problems she has epilepsy she is fed through a feeling tube, she can't walk she can't talk she's 22 but like 6 month old in her mind many Dr's told me she wouldn't make it past 6 months old bit I knew she would I have faith in her she's the strongest person I know and the bravest in the world she is my angel, she is truly a gift from God but she does suffer from pain as her body contracts becoming deformed and from having her scoliosis fixed spinal fusion having RA and possibly lupus which is very painful my baby girl would greatly benefit from having medical marijuana why make some many precious people like my daughter and so many others wonderful people suffer and adults and children with seizures would greatly benefit from this so please just pass the law it's not going to hurt anyone if anything it's going to help so many people -

My husband suffers from a rare terminal illness and the only thing that helps him get through his days is smoking marijuana. He was even recommended by his doctor keep smoking if it is helping him. We have also found out of state research that vouches, marijuana helps stop the progression of many neurological diseases like his. For the sake of my family legalize marijuana so I can have my husband and my child can have his father for little longer.REPORT COMMENTS

Why is Medicinal Marijuana still illegal? Scientist have proven that it helps people with serious illness including myself to numb the pain. It's ridiculous that all the legislators are Bible thumping pansies, if you can clearly read in the Bible that the 'Big Man Upstairs ' given us life, food, plants to grow in this world and all these Senate's and legislators of Indiana are to worried about crimes against it when they should be worried about heroin and methamphetamines. What is so harmful about marijuana seriously you sit on the couch in no, people can actually go and do daily activities instead of being home in bed with severe chronic pain you're more likely to see people abusing alcohol or harder drugs like methamphetamines or heroin but the Senate's and legislators are too worried about taxing our dollars because they want more money. Change this law!!! Our neighbor, Illinois has stopped the arrest and incarceration of its citizens for personal marijuana possession. They receive a $200 fine. Our jails are overcrowded and these are nonviolent crimes. I just lost my father to lung cancer. He was 47. I feel we could have slowed his tumor growth or eased his passing with oil and thc. But we couldn't even try because we live here. And we didn't have the money to go somewhere else. Bring it here! Let's get on board Indiana.REPORT COMMENTS

At 10 yrs old I had bone cancer, today at 19 I am disabled and have chronic pain RA PTSD and many other side effects from treatment.
