where is the justice ? they break hippa when we protect our patients , when asking for help we are condemned . my story quick . misdiagnosed for 5 years from the medical facility I worked for and trusted . just kept covering up by keeping me doped up . got addicted to my own prescribed pain med . found out during this time I did look up my own labs and reports from er . lost my job for doing this but ended up saving my own life. My left kidney completely atrophic from chronic stones my right one only half function with much scarring and now have to have surgery every 3 months cause of damage to my ureter and urethra for the rest of my life . volunteered myself to go to rehab from my own prescriptions and suffered seizures and still do and woke up to find out I have been signed up for pnap . still have chronic pain and take my meds as directed for pnap to say I should give up on pnap cause I will always have positive urine . where is the support ?REPORT COMMENTS

The court system makes sure to provide criminals with the innocent till proven guilty action, why can't we provide the same thought to the nurses that care for the sick, injured and dieing patients. We sure don't apply it to the people making these laws so why should there be a double standard, if you are good enough to make the law you are good enough to be held accountable by that very same law and its principals.REPORT COMMENTS

I would like to know if other professions, such as our own elected legislators have to undergo the same scrutiny when they have had a DUI or other infraction. This sounds to me like "guilty until proven innocent" and harassment of individuals who have already paid their dues, made restitution and are trying to be productive, working members of our society. I don't think people on welfare or other forms assistance go through so much. Do the right thing and change these laws in a way that is fair and just.REPORT COMMENTS
