If the public had been paying attention this wouldn't be the case. How disgraceful!

It is past time that we the people are unequally controlled by laws that only apply to the civilian masses and not equally applied to the politicians that make and pass the laws. I support the 28th amendment proposition and will stand behind all who believe in changing this false, "All men are created equal " government rouse...we are awake, with alert and clear mind. We are awake, to stir up fair and equal change and when we have term limits instilled in to our great country, we will find a whole other type of person wanting to enter the political arena...ones who want to serve their country without expecting special and unequal benifits...like a fire fighter, a teacher, a police officer, a veteran...ones who just do good because it is the right thing to do. Sorry to be so long winded in my statement, but have children and it is our duty to provide a better America for them and so on and so forth.

Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States. I support this amendment and will be watching to see if one such as this is ever put up for vote in the house and senate. If passed and put into law, it would show the citizens of this country that our elected officials do not put themselves above their constituents. I definitely will not hold my breath until an amendment such as this is put into law because I for one believe our elected officials DO believe they are privileged and should have special treatment above and beyond that of ordinary citizens of this great country. Please prove me wrong!

There may not be a way to stop the political class from destroying the nation to feed their own greed, but we can slow them down. Stop government of, by and for special interests. I support the 28th Amendment.

This petition started in 2010. Simply look at the last page. Am I the only one noticing petitions don’t work? Find a candidate and do actual work for that candidate. YOU create change with action. Get out there.

I'd LOVE to see this signed and become common law AND knowledge by the majority of the people who profess to love or at least like this country & the countless opportunities it offers to each of us. No excuses please.
