Why did you run for public office? What was your motivation? Everyone claims, to serve the people, but when elected, ideals change so you fit into the club. Serving the people turns into placating the people to get re-elected, while you maneuver within Congress to develop your career. The House and Senate should not be careers. They should be limited terms, take a break and run again, otherwise greed and power become the goal and true serving the people takes the back seat! When you vote special favors for yourselves, you stop serving "We The People" and you have failed to honor your pledge to our great country, and you become part of the problem that is tearing it down. This country was founded with Christian principals in mind "In God We Trust". Whether or not you believe, that is your choice, but if there is "God" what will you say on judgment day?REPORT COMMENTS

I don't want to pay into social security or participate in Obama Care either. Furthermore, I'd like to retire in a year or two. How obsurd it is that all other government employees (military) have to serve 20 years to get retirement and benefits which , by the way, Obama and company want to cut.
