First let me say, I'm sick of the way our governmernt is headed. If we the people do not get busy with petitions & more public out cry about social sect. & medicare we'll all be in debtors prisons working for free the pay their way. Stpo the electoral college. I would love to give myself a raise when I need it. If it?s good for the government then it's good for ?the people?. To have no worries about retirement because I get paid the same pay as I did when I was working. If it?s good for the government then it is good for ?the people?. Handouts? Why not? If it?s good for the government then it's good for ?the people?. Maybe that's the problem with the world economy today? Oh well I don?t have to worry. To not pay into Social Security (I know it will be spent on something else). That?s the way it is in government (watch out for me not for ?the people?). Isn't that called stealing? To be exempted from laws we make for ?the people?. Really, why should you care? You make the laws. You don't have to live by them. Healthcare Reform in all of its forms - good enough for ?the people? - but not for you? Why are you allowed to live above the law? The LAW is the LAW for EVERYONE or NO ONE! Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever? The LAW is the LAW for EVERYONE or NO ONE! Stop looking out for #1 (yourself). Remember when we go to vote we are choosing to pay your salary. It?s your job to do what is right for ?the people?. I hope you as a lawmaker who is paid by ?the people? realize how angry we really are. You are not god so stop playing god with ?the people? you are supposed to represent. Make a change for ?the people?. Remember you were hired by ?the people? to be for ?THE PEOPLE?. Now go and DO THE RIGHT THING. DO YOUR JOB! This is one proposal that YOU really need to pass for ?the people?. Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States." Remember YOU are part of ?the people?. Don't make laws that you aren't willing to follow yourself! Laws are for EVERYONE or NO ONE! Nobody is exempt! Weren't you hired by ?the people? FOR ?THE PEOPLE?? SO now go and do the right thing for ?the people? DO YOUR JOB! That is what you?re paid to do. Let?s see if you really do have ?the peoples? best interests at heart and put this into law!REPORT COMMENTS
