I've been suffering with this rotten disease for 3yrs, I did not ask for this but some how I've gotten it and now I'm stuck with it! The odds are highly against me that I'll have complications with this disease. I already get sick 2-3 time a week, I can't stand certain foods any longer. I can't eat beef. Fried foods,greasy foods, dairy products and some fruits and vegetables. I rarely go out for dinner because I never know when I'll be sick. We need help! People, fathers,mothers,sisters,brothers, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, aunts, unncles, grandparents, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends and everyone else in between are getting sick and possibly dying. We need to do something now before its too late.REPORT COMMENTS

So many medical professionals don't know or understand about Gastroparesis. My whole life revolves around it as I am tube fed. I have to crush my pills to put down my tube that goes into my small intestines because my stomach doesn't absorb them. I have to drain my stomach because it fills up with bile and acid that makes me feel sick and bloats me. Just when I am finished with one thing it's already time to do something else. Not getting diagnosed in a timely manner when you are so sick all the time throwing up undigested food and so nauseated you can't stand it. You have a few bites of food and you are full and then you look pregnant and are in so much pain. But nobody can tell you what is wrong with you. People are literally dying from this illness. We need awareness and more research so a cure can be found one day. PS all of these hangover clinics should be shut down because they are taking away valuable supplies from people who are on TPN for nutrition. These clinics give IVs with meds and add vitamins to the bag when there has been a national shortage of vitamins for people on TPN. They should come first. Their lives depend on these things and irresponsible people don't need them. Just like the "feeding tube diet". We depend on this to LIVE, not to lose weight. I think these things need tougher regulations.REPORT COMMENTS
