I fully agree that laws need to become much harsher for people who abuse animals. Myself, I am a dog lover, and if someone was to try to hurt my dog I take that as serious as someone trying to hurt a member of my family. I am sick and tired of seeing the disgusting treatment of animals, to me, someone being cruel to an animal has deep issues and shows signs of having no heart and ability to be able to do the same to a person.
