Please pass the bill H.R. 3012. The high skilled immigrants in this country contribute majorly towards innovation and economy by paying equal taxes as the citizen themselves. We are the legal immigrants wanting to follow the legal route to become permanent residents and this bill is only fixing the broken immigration system and is not adding visas or taking jobs from americans.REPORT COMMENTS

I would request that this bill be passed. We have been waiting for 9 years for our permanent residence. This bill is only fair treatment for all of us who have waited patiently and adopted the legal method to become a part of this country.REPORT COMMENTS

Dear Senator, A few more points I will like to add are as below: 1) Skilled workers who have been in US for more number of years are more likely to buy a house (which helps the real-estate market) or open a business (which may help the job market). Hence a FIFO system apart from being good in principle also makes sound economic sense, more so in the current economic situation. 2) More than 90% of the skilled workers are already inside USA hence diversity mix of the high skilled immigrant population won't change just by the virtue of HR3012 becoming a law. 3) Skilled immigrants who would benefit from this legislation the most, have no access to the diversity visa lottery. Warm Regards, JitendraREPORT COMMENTS
