I am a wife of a steel worker US Steel Fairfield, I know a lot of the men that worked with Mitch they were good men just wanted to give the best to there family. I am a laid off steel worker at US Steel in Fairfield, Alabama I hope that the US government would step up and help steel workers here in the United States and put a stop to the steel dumping that is taking good paying jobs from hard working good people and hurting family in this country make China and all the other countries price their steel at the same price that U.S. steel Mills price their's all we need are for everyone to go by the same rules. Aside from the obvious economic damage, the anti-competitive, and anti-market fundamentals built into the subsidies which enable foreign competitors to stay afloat. Such, behavior has longer term consequences to the climate and environment as China has 0 regulations with respect to the environment and considering that the an agreement on climate change was reached in Paris last week, allowing China to dump steel is only incentivising them to continue polluting.REPORT COMMENTS
