Students that come to UAG come from a multitude of backgrounds, and undertake an enormous challenge in commiting to a profession that requires utmost dedication. Being in a foreign country and with limited resources, students take on many additional challenges. And most of us do so with the sole motivation of one day returning to our communities, to work in service to the same people that have inspired us to pursue the medical profession. There is a severe shortage of primary care physicians all of the US, and I ask for the opportunity to play a small part in relieving that shortage.Feb 19th, 2014Someone from Addison, TX signed.

Dear Mr. Waldo, I am signing on behalf of all the hard working students here at UAG, especially American students from Puerto Rico. I served with their brothers and sisters during my time in the military, and they are worth the educational investment. Please assist them with student loans, they will make outstanding physicians and our country very proud.REPORT COMMENTS

My niece is in her final year of medical school - an immense source of pride for our entire family. If funding requirements have recently changed, surely some accomodation can be made for those students already enrolled and attending under the old rules. We can't just pull the rug out from under these bright, hard-working students.REPORT COMMENTS
