African Lions are not just beautiful animals and traditional global symbols of power, elegance and success - they are an integral part of many fragile ecosystems across Africa. In our modern age, there is NO need to continue allowing Trophy Hunting, which is by no means a "sport", but a barbaric and cruel - but stoppable - act, pushing Lions towards extinction (Lions are already extinct in 26 of the 54 African states which had a population at some point)... AMERICANS happen to make up over 60% of these unnecessary trophy hunts which slaughter disproportionately healthy male lions - causing a devastating impact not only on lion populations, but overall genetic/species development. Protect these great animals before it's too late. -
