I think it is highly unfair that we bought our home in Aug 2008 and took advantage of the 7,500.00 tax credit that needed to be repaid and now they have offered and extended a new tax credit 4 months later that does not have to be repaid. I find it unfair that in only 4 short months they can make this decision and not include those of us who are to pay back. We need help too or we would not have taken advantage of this credit. Please make the 7,500.00 a credit too.REPORT COMMENTS

We bought homes as the Government wanted. Those homes are not worth less then we bought them for and we are the only ones in this whole housing deal to have to repay the tax "credit"? The Government needs to get this right and treat us all equally. Those getting the $8,000 (which started just weeks after I bought my home), get a free ride and do not have to repay the money? Life is not always fair but with our economy hurting congress should really consider changing the repayment for 2008 home buyers. Both the 2008 and 2009 tax credits should be true credits and either they should both have to be repaid or both should not have to be repaid. Just my 2 cents!REPORT COMMENTS
