Bring to a vote and pass the PAST act! End the direct, ongoing, continued torture of Tennessee Walking horses by known trainers who then receive big awards at "Big Lick" shows! These horses endure a life of pain! Confined to their stalls and unable to stand up until forced because chemicals are eating into their legs and feet! Living with CHAINS and heavy weights on their feet. Trained with barbed wire halters. Lying in their stalls moaning in pain. Made to perform in shows where vain trainers, owners, riders, judges and the entire "Big Lick" show industry congratulate themselves on how they made these horses take big high steps through FORCE - made them do their bidding through TORTURE. Such an accomplishment ! What a wonderful testament to how GREAT you are owners and trainers! How great at vanity, bullying, torture and violence towards innocent creatures. These horses are physically capable of KILLING their handlers but do not because of their inherently gentle, cooperative nature! Oh my god, how can anyone allow this to continue another minute?Please, Congressmen and Congresswomen, prove that we are a civilized nation and bring the PAST act up for vote NOW- so that it can be enforced as LAW and those barbaric people living off the pain of the innocent can be brought to justice. If you are already helping pass this act then we thank you and ask that you continue to try to get this passed ASAP. If you are not well versed on this unconscionable, inhumane treatment of horses, please at least take a glance at some of the videos on soring and big licks as these will instantly convince you on the need for the act.
