I believe most businesses care about their employees, and I do not want to see businesses burdened with more regulation. However, this request does not require businesses to lose more days of work, but rather simply adds a new and very understandable and needed circumstance to the qualifying factors. I have been involved with the local Arizona group of Parents of Murdered Children, and I can tell you that the losses faced by these families are the most traumatic I've ever seen in my 25 years of law enforcement. Please consider helping these families grieve with their unspeakable losses by supporting this common-sense modification which will not adversely affect our business community.
