I am a bereaved mother, I lost my 11 yr old son Zachary, suddenly. This is and has been the hardest loss of any kind. A week of bereavment is no where enough for a grieving parent. Every parent is different but it takes most of us much longer to even consider taking on the task of functioning at our jobs.It is a life long journey, but knowing that if we needed and were able to stay home with our family and grieve for what ever time we needed would be a burdeon lifted from our already broken lives.
