My cousin returned back to USA from being deployed as a snipper. Within a month he committed suicide. He was to have first child. He was depressed and having trouble adjusting to life outside the military. More should be done to insure military personnel know of signs of depression, and giving a person to contact if they or their family believes they need help. Maybe with help he would still be here with his family.REPORT COMMENTS

PTSD can result from infant surgery that was done without anesthesia or adequate pain control. Before 1985, many infants were operated on without anesthesia or with a local anesthetic. I myself have coped with PTSD since a pyloric stenosis surgery at 3-weeks old.REPORT COMMENTS
