I believe assisted suicide could be relief to those suffering from physical or mental illnesses. Someone with an incurable disease can benifit from this. No one should have to suffer through pain, losing control of their body/mind, and/or die slowly when they can decide on their own to go with dignity and on their own time. however, I believe there should be an age limit (18+) but otherwise I am in full supportSep 25th, 2016Someone from Fair Play, MO signed.

It should be available as a choice for those with mental illness as well. I shouldn't be forced to be depressed, anxious, and suicidal my whole life.REPORT COMMENTS

Since you have chosen to condemn chronic pain sufferers to living lives tortured by their chronic severe pain without pain relief. Leaving them without the only medications available to relieve the severity of pain necessary for these patients to have some pain relief, to have any sort of quality lives. Since you have made it so chronic pain patients lives are no longer worth living in such tremendous amounts of pain that no one should ever be left to exist in. It is the least you can do is make it easier for them to escape the agony they live in. if you are going to continue destroying patients lives ignoring there pleas for mercy, understanding, pleas for compassion. As long as you refuse to see chronic pain patients as nothing more then abusers even with all the proof shows they are not. Then you need to give pain patients a pain free way to relieve themselves of their pain and suffering from their condemned lives. Since it is considered inhumane to let animals suffer then shouldn't the same rules apply to chronic pain sufferersREPORT COMMENTS

No one wants to see an innocent life taken, but I know if I was suffering with severe pain and the only light at the end of the tunnel is my inevitable death in a few months or couple years of continuing torture I would rather have it end sooner than later. This is a very tough subject and can be hard to wrap your mind around but in the end people should have the right to choose death in extreme situations such as painful terminal illnesses. Extreme measures sometimes demand extreme actions. I wouldn't make this an easy thing to do, but something in a last case scenario that should not be denied.REPORT COMMENTS
