I know as of right now 50 people that could benefit with the passing of this in our state, one of them being me. I do not sleep unless I have some sort of sleeping aid, this medicine that everyone do hates helps people like me be able to carry on through life normally, also I was in a car accident and I have a lot of pain that the medicine can't help that medical marijuana does.

Crohn's patient for 26 years and fight EVERY DAY to keep abdominal and joint pain under control enough to function, work and have some normalcy in life. Please find it in your hearts to have mercy on the people of Kentucky who could gain some relief from the legalization of medical marijuana. Legalize Marijuana!!!

I honestly believe that medical marijuana is the solution we have been waiting for . there are alot of drug addicts in Kentucky , ones that miss use there prescriptions , and sell them and abuse them . Young ones buying and using them . Iv personally lost several friends over this and I'm am also a recovering addict . Of 4 years . Why prescribe things that people are miss using and something that isn't helping anything . When you can legalize marijuana . Iv done alot of research about the pros of marijuana because my grandmother in law has hep C , heart murmer , liver and kidney failure , and cirosis of liver . I believe marijuana would help slow down the process of all the above and help with the pain with out her vomiting EveryTime she takes one of her pain pills . My grandmother has experimented with marijuana once and she was her self for once . She wasn't hurting as bad and she didn't get sick off it . I don't see no reason not to legalize it . Yeah it gives you a high , but your not sitting there knotting out with your kids or dying . Your in a good , peaceful , fun mood . I also believe that I would benefit from it . After I had my two kids Iv lost so much weight . Don't have an appetite for anything . I'm not gonna say how much I weigh now , but my sons doctor had mentioned how I'm looking anorexic . in the research Iv done and experienced with my past addiction to drugs , Iv come to realize marijuana helps weight . It makes you hungry and helps you gain weight . These are just some of my opinions . Not to mention peace and the killing rate in Kentucky over other drugs . Thanks for your time . I appetite everyone of you !

I support this bill because it is the right thing to do as a person. By not allowing someone sick to do whatever it takes for them to improve their quality of life is simply not fair. We spend far to much money and put to many of our OWN people at risk for simple possession of a plant. Why would we try to outlaw nature in the first place? Who are we to say what us allowed to grow and not grow?

I hope this is passed! It is sad that as a country we have created so many addiction issues from pills but act as though marijuana is a terrible drug when it could help relieve so many issues without the type of dependency that makes people truly crazy. I will never understand, but at least we are taking one step in the right direction...hopefully!

Medical marijuana shows so much promise, especially when it comes to controlling seizures in children. As a pediatric nurse of 30 years, I feel that Charlotte's Web should be available for these kids. Other types of medical marijuana should be available to those who need relief during sickness and to help control pain.

Good work so far, KY! I used to live and grow in Colorado, and I've personally seen cannabis give cancer patients "new life" when they were able to use MMJ instead of the strong narcotic pain meds like Oxy. My friend's dad was able to raise a garden, drive, go to the grocery, etc for the first time in years when he switched. It made his last couple of years much more enjoyable before he died of Pancreatic cancer. I fully support this bill for the added healthcare options it brings, plus the influx of tax dollars and economic stimulus that its implementation will bring to our great state.
