Someone was killed by a gun yesterday in Pennsylvania while trimming a Christmas tree. I am guessing that the NRA would suggest that she should have been armed to protect herself while trimming the tree. Nope, we're not buying it. Saner gun control laws banning assault weapons will make people more safe. Please see to it that stricter laws are enacted now, before we have any more blood shed.REPORT COMMENTS

Please take a good hard look at this. We are turning into a country that is afraid to send their kids to schools, to movies, anywhere. We are not that kind of country, we are not that kind of people that have to live in fear. We are the country that are lucky to live in peace. That is not what's happening now, we are turning into the country that has to live in fear. The day I have to protect myself in this country with assault weapons is the day I don't want to be a part of it any longer. I feel so lucky to have been born in the United States where we don't have to live like that. Please reinstate ban on assault weapons, ban the ammo and clips that these weapons use or at the least limit them. Don't let anyone walk out of Walmart or gun shows or flea markets with guns. Don't let gun owners sell to others without it being documented and background checks done. Please enforce 2 week waiting period. Hunters know when season starts. And please hold adults responsible for keeping guns away from children. And as always every American should have access to mental health assistance. And no this wont stop all murders but if even one life can be spared it is worth it, especially the life of a 6 year old. Come on this country is better than this.REPORT COMMENTS
