Get rid of this asap!! How is this working if health care plans are costing us more money than ever before..People are removing family members from their plans because it is costing too much money. Something is very wrong when you have to make the decision to either make a house payment every month or pay for a healthcare plan every month. Many people are choosing to pay the penalty fee because its the cheaper way to go. I'm pretty sure the elected representatives DON'T PAY A SINGLE DIME for their health plans..We the tax payers are more than likely paying it for them. That's why they don't care how much premiums have gone up! -

MY premiums went from $2500. Per year to $6500.00 a year. Now I am paying $7500.00. The 2nd year of Obama care. For my wife only. We lost our good Sharp plan and was thrown into Kaiser which is crappy. WE have never seen cost increases like this . WE want our old i insurance back!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to the affordable care act i owe $7000 plus in medical debt right now just from one year of Doctor and hospital visits, not one of which could be avoided. I recently had to take my baby to the emergency room again and when I receive those bills I'll have two options, NOT PAY, or file bankruptcy. Health Insurance should be a choice. If the government wants to intervene the only option should be free health care for the population, or mandate a law that makes business have a mandatory health insurance program within the company. Taking $325 or 2% of annual income is a brute force bully tactic, in my opinion. This never should have passed and it needs to change. I'm not filthy, stinking rich to afford it out of pocket, yet I make just enough money to not get it for free. This was designed to target the middle-class. Obama care is unconstitutional. It targets the muddle class who is trying to get ahead in life. My husband and I both have higher degrees in education. A masters and doctorate. I'm a stay at home mom of two. We can barely save or even pay off our student loans. Obama care does not take student loans into consideration. In addition, our family puts a lot of money into preventive health care such as exercising, eating healthy food choices (organic only) and buying supplements so we do not end up going to see a doctor. The least inexpensive plan that we can afford is 285.00 a month for myself and two children. Our deductible is 13,000. We will never meet the deductible. My husband pays around 100.00 a month for his. 400.00 a month for a product we do t use is mind boggling g especially when we are trying to pay off student loans and provide a good life for our family. Our hard work in school and out dies not seem justified when we are paying for other people to enjoy free health care and make poor lifestyle decisions that we are responsible for. Please retract obama care. Come up with a new policy that is fair for every community member and honors people who actively take preventive measures in their health.REPORT COMMENTS

It would be one thing if it helped Americans. The marketplace has hired idiots who cannot trouble shoot and correct mistakes they have made in data entry. They cannot drop one individual from a plan, add one individual from a plan. Once in place it is difficult to cancel it and the marketplace refuses to work out problems with the insurance companies. Ordinary taxpayers waste hours of time trying to resolve issues the marketplace creates with no resolution. I personally notified them that I had coverage with my employer and then they dropped my husband who does not have coverage at his workplace. They will not correct the problem. I have made a complaint with the insurance commissioner of Oregon. The system does not help anyone and in fact could potentially kill people because the people in control of your coverage are not trained correctly and cannot correct errors. If this doesn't get repealed people will rise up against the government and take back our country from this devisive means to steal our tax dollars and offer us nothing in return. President Trump needs to act now to save our people from death, it is moving in that direction entirely. If you read the complaints against Obamacare you will read similar stories to mine that they have made countless attempts to correct mistakes and their coverage is either dropped or totally messed up.REPORT COMMENTS
