I have paid the penalty for not getting Obama Care since the start. I did this for 3 reasons (Yes I use reason in my choice of actions) It 's not affordable or of a nature that would be helpful. IF I were to get insurance It would not be form the government as they are the worst run business maybe that will change. I don't want a heath care plan if in the future I think that's how and when I need it then I will do so, I do not like anyone taking away my free choice about how I spend my money, when and where. And then telling me I am bad for using the free rights this country provides. I now received a letter informing me that I will need to pay a penalty of over a thousand dollars so hurry up and sign up now. I voted, prayed and contributed for Trumps election and I hope the words in regard to ease of burden refer to me too. I looked on line and found that they can not collect this fine except by taking it out of your refund well I won't have a refund so I think I am going to trust Trump and not pay. I don't know how to get this message to a place where it will be heard but since Trump seems to use the public media maybe he will see this I need this help. I don't want to break the law but this expense is too much both the plan and the fine. I run a small business which I started when I was 16 nearly 50 years ago have paid taxes all that time.PS I am a woman.

I cannot afford to have insurance, nor do I ever visit a doctor. I practice eastern medicine and have not been sick in years, and yet here I am facing a fine for several hundreds of dollars when I make little to nothing. It's really sad that I am being forced into something that I do not need and being fined for not being able to afford it. Cost of living is high, wages are low and hours are poor. We should consider us all equally instead of thinking of the majority who can afford or is offered it through their jobs. What are we really working for here?

Repeal insanity of ACA, it is a modern times slavery of people who chose to work. If you have health problems - go work and earn money to treat your health. No more slavery to work for someone else's health bill. Work, exercise, do not overeat and your health will be good.

Without Obamacare.I would not have health coverage. All people need health care options that are affordable. It is necessary for the progression of the American system. Other prominent countries care for the health of there citizens to thus providing health care. Health coverage sends the needed message that health is first....DO NOT REPEAL WITHOUT A PLAN.

I do not believe in the healthcare system, it is "sick" care system. Over 300,000+ people are killed every year from iatrogenic illnesses (sickness from medication). The prescription drug epedimic and addictions are America's number one killer. To be a healthy person requires eating whole foods and exercising regular. People think doctors are magic, and people are fighting genetic disorders. Physical trauma is the only thing a doctor is good for. The reality our bodies are struggling against prescription drugs and bad food. Humans were born to be healthy. There are few rare issues that are genetic and geneticist cannot help on a cellular level because genes don't control cell activity, cells respond to environment and exposure. Besides the fact that Obama care is against the constitution, the health care system is the most dangerous culprit to human health. The horrible foods and choices people make feeding themselves are causing illness, which lends to the prescription drug epedimic. I will NOT buy into a system that Is corrupted by greed, killing tons of healthy people, and something I am fighting against daily in my life.

I personally have private health insurance offered through my employer but my son-in-law and daughter were obligated to choose obamacare because their individual employers do not offer health insurance. After paying the premiums for obamacare, at tax refund time they were penalized for not paying enough. Also, a coworker had obamacare for a period of time during unemployment and when our company employed her, her obamacare rates were higher than the rates for the health insurance provided at our place of employment! And the democrats call that a better plan?

I am being penalized for not getting health care coverage because I CAN NOT AFFORD an extra 425.00 a month! What I would like to know is why Americans have to be penalized an Illigals are not! Obama care is a cover up for his plan to weaken our nation. Get rid of Obama Care! The Affordable Health Insurance that IS NOT AFFORDABLE! The only person not covered by health insurance IS ME in my house hold, stop pretending Obama Care CARES about the American People because IT DOES NOT!

I'm an honest tax payer and hard working individual who is trying to afford going back to school so I can increase my salary to help better plan for my future. With the cost of living increasing at such a fast rate, it's impossible to pay all the bills on time and afford basic daily needs. I've always had health insurance, either personally or through my job. Now, I can't afford it and neither can my place of employment! So, they took health insurance away from the middle class and gave it to the people who couldn't afford it before-- all the welfare free-riders who don't do anything to better their lives and won't stop reproducing and having children, meaning they get even MORE handouts. How is everyone OK with this system? What happened to the meaning of America and what it means to be an American? Is this the change we were promised? Oh, and now I have to pay nearly $700 if I'm not enrolled Jan.31, 2017?! How will I afford that? Who is the government to tell me what I need for myself and don't need for myself. I pay my taxes and focus on bettering my life and the life of my family and no matter what I do I am punished by the system so those making poor choices and refusing to better themselves can remain receiving handouts... The only people that are OK with Obamacare are the rich or the super poor. THE MIDDLE CLASS WILL CONTINUE TO CARRY THE BURDENS AND BE THE BACKBONE OF THIS COUNTRY!

I am a 27 year old citizen who pays my taxes and obeys the laws. I work full time and pay my fair share. Last year i was robbed when filing my taxes. this year i received a letter claiming i would again be robbed, this time $695. You try to justify this crime by calling it a penalty for not having health insurance. Well i need to voice my opinion on the matter. I do not require health insurance. Forcing me to pay for something i do not want or need is a violation of my freedom. I will not be held hostage or coerced into it. I recieved quotes for the affordable care act to see how much it would cost me. my quote was over $300 a month, which is not affordable. especially for a service i do not want. I have not seen a doctor in 8 years.. and when i did, i paid my costs out of pocket. which i will continue to do until the day i die. It costs me less to pay my medical costs out of pocket than what the affordable care act would charge me yearly. I do not require health insurance. I request you waive this penalty, as it is a unfair, unjust, and unconstitutional.

It's racketeering plain and simple. The premiums are astronomical, the deductibles sky-high and the coverage is inadequate. Give us the same coverage that congress has!

Obamacare takes away our freedom of choice. "Essential health benefits" are different for each individual, and I should have the freedom to choose what is right for me. Obamacare totally disincentivizes those who are healthy and not eligible for subsidies from participating. It is broken and clearly not sustainable. Good riddance to Obamacare and its tax penalty: Extortion has no place in the U.S.A.

I read a few comments below from people pleading not to take their insurance away. I would guess these are the people getting it fully subsidized or paying a very reduced rate. . Did you ever think maybe some people who could afford it in the past can not now because the rates have increased so much for people who work hard for a living in order to fund those who don't? I am one of those people now without health insurance. At 51 this is the first time I have not been able to afford the premiums. Nothing is truly free. ... I always wish to pay my own way through life, but, not for others who have not EARNED the same level of health care, We know there are in fact, different levels of health care.I do not qualify for the Obamacare, I make a little over the limit and my insurance has more than doubled since Obamacare and that is for a lesser policy. The medical providers, insurance, pharmaceutical all need revamped!

With the removal of not being able to be on my parents insurance til I'm 26 will hurt me dearly. So much that I will not be able to go get the care I'll need.

Please pleAse don't take insurance away. I'm looking at another heart surgery. Without coverage I will die. Please don't take it away , I am finally getting the care I need health and mental health. I was also able to get substance abuse help. I'm over 2 years clean and sober. I know several people that have gotten second chances because of affordable health care. I was born without a thyroid, I've been able to monitor my levels and get appropriate doses of synthroid because of it. Please listen to us

Obama care has done nothing but create more headaches for the working family that lives paycheck to paycheck. Understandable that every person deserves Healthcare but when you make so that people struggle even more so is a bad thing. And then to fine people for NOT having it is over the top in my opinion.

Obamacare caused my insurance premiums and deductibles to increase. At least before Obamacare, I had a choice of having insurance or not. Now, I am forced to have insurance and it doesn't cover anything and I pay $7,000 per year on premiums. Obamacare has me struggling financially!!! I am a single mother of 3 and I cannot afford to buy decent meals for my children.
