I am a certified financial planner working with and for people at retirement age who because of the financial crisis caused by avoricious Wall Street executives cannot get a decent interest rate on their investments and who will lose money as interest rates rise and their bond funds and bonds lose value. I am working with a woman whose husband lost his business at age 58 and who realized he could not recoup enough money to be able to live in retirement.
