My girlfriend deals with HSV-1daily, after having contracted it from a partner who was asymptomatic for the disease. We cannot be as intimate because of this condition and shadows are relationship constantly. Research for a cure is the best hope in helping her, and countless other victims of HSV-1, to living a comfortable and healthy life again.
