Visa cap increase is necessary. And more important transparency required in lottery selection. Seems SME sector companies are fall behind and stragely not getting selected in lottery.Jun 23rd, 2014Someone from Union City, PA signed.

Getting Visa should be based on skill level, but now it became luck based. More half the applications are not even seen by UICIS(ones which are not picked in lottery). Best thing would be processing all applications and then approving deserved ones.REPORT COMMENTS

Please allow people with US advanced degrees to continue working in their respective jobs. Having to leave the US, would cause irreparable damage to our families and careers.REPORT COMMENTS

Suspend the H1-B Visa program until all U.S.-citizen STEM workers are fully employed. The visa program is currently a way for companies to get cheap labor at U.S.-workers' expense.REPORT COMMENTS

I am one of the students who came with a dream to pursue a career and help the US economy grow. I have never violated any immigration laws. Clearly there is a demand for more talents in US, increasing the demand for H1B. Though I got an advanced degree and posses great skills in technology, I still am being posed a threat to leave the country because of H1B. I pay taxes, obey the law and respect America. There are thousands of people like me longing for opportunity. We request Congress to be considerate and wise and, increase the H1B quota.REPORT COMMENTS

Please increase the quota! I am actually an employer and one of the best employees didn't make the lottery. Now she is forced to go back in her country and our company will lose a very valuable employee.REPORT COMMENTS

It is unfair for the students who have graduated with a degree from US universities to go back to their home country just because they were not lucky enough to get selected in the visa lottery system. Alongwith the total H1 Cap increase, the US goverment should consider increasing the 20000 limit for Advanced Degree as I am sure there are more than that number of students who graduate every year.REPORT COMMENTS
