Logan County Animal Shelter, takes dogs are stay full. They euthanize dogs weekly. Puppies included. Not right. And conditions are not good due to old building. Shut them down or change to No Kill shelter and new building. -

Stop HIGH Kill shelters! I live in a community who also has a HIGH KILL shelter. Most of them aren't even given a chance. They give strays they know nothing about more time to live (3 days appx), then they do "Owner surrenders" who they know exactly how they act, and everything about them I am working in my community to pull together to shut our shelter down! This needs to be a priority! There are so many of these facilities scattered across this country. It's not the animals fault. It's the irresponsible humans! Need to strengthen the laws & fines for ppl that dumb animals. (my neighbor & I are constantly taking animals to spay/neuter clinics. And the animals keep being dropped, and those ppl drive away, dumbing their responsibility on to us. Don't know how long we can substain this out of pocket expense, yet the only SHELTERS ARE HIGH KILL!REPORT COMMENTS
