High kill shelters is not the answer for animals. Many of these animals are dumped at these shelters for various reasons at the fault of the owner, not the animal. These innocent animals are scared, homeless and adapted new stressors. We need to have better laws and stop back yard breeders, promote spay and neutering programs, lower pet insurance rates, have programs for senior animals. ????????STOP KILL SHELTERS!!! ???????????????????????? I can't begin to tell you how saddened and sickened I am by this. To say I'm living in a country that says we are all created equal is a blatant LIE, no we are not, because we do not respect all forms of life. NO ONE should have the right to take the life of another human or animal...who are we to say who lives and who dies that's makes us no better and no lesson has been learned. To sentence a helpless and innocent animal to its death, to wipe them out in the worst most inhumane ways after caging them for god knows how long with absolutely little to no care and no love is disgusting. We all know and talk about this, but nothing is being done about it ! TAKE ACTION! Stop all the unnecessary animal killing and show your future children that humanity is still alive, to be better than we ever were, and prove that as a human race we are not entirely lost. I feel horrible seeing notifications and posts day in and day out about animals being put down on this day and that day "to be destroyed" as if they are nothing ... it kills me to know that the value of life has lost meaning. We say we have learned from our past mistakes, but have we ? Let's look at Hitler for example this man killed a race, until after all that suffering we finally stood up.... yet we sit here again ignorant and superficial and too focused on materialistic things that we allow the killing of another species right in front of our faces, one that is loyal to us? How is that any different? All of these beautiful lives lost. Animals cannot stand up for themselves... so we need to be their voice.
