I petitioned for emergency custody as instructed by DCS. The other grandmother removed stitches from my 2 year old granddaughters face in her own home. Claimed to be a CNA. CNA's DO NOT have authorization to remove stitches. The father is abusive and admitting he was addicted to meth more than once on social media, I turned these over to DCS with a video showing abuse. She made the claim that she didn't see him "hit" her in the video. Clearly it shows my daughter on the ground with stuff rearranged. On top of her cussing her out. Who is going to hold a camera phone while someone is hitting them in the face and head? My daughter is disabled. I feel she let my granddaughter down. I filed for emergency custody in Jefferson County. Judge Roach said it was a jurisdiction matter. I've had 6 attorneys tell me that she was transient. She was jumping from county to county. Meaning I had to file for emergency custody in the county she was in. The system is corrupt. Kisa Johnson in Rutherford County doesn't realize I kept all emails and text between her and I. I'm fed up. This all took place in August of 2015. It's now January of 2016. I have reported all. I have nothing to hide. I think it's disgusting that the system claims to help the children. Then a court that is arrogant. No one obtains morals anymore. They make the laws as they go. Disgusting.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm fighting dcs in Tennessee for my grandson. I have a lawyer that's taking his time on everything. I want my little boy. He's been gone for 14 months and I did get to sees him for 10 of those months. We've signed papers to go to court to adopt. The lawyer days they have 30 days to respond but hasn't told me what that's responding to. The parents have lost there rights and I the grandmother had him most of the time. They took him from me and he's in a foster home. They want to adopt him out. What can I do to to find out about the crookedness dcs is doing that the public does not know. Thank youREPORT COMMENTS

i had full guardianship of five of my granbabys CPS was called by Helen Ross Mcnabb it was to,d I was fixing to adopt the kids. Due to my medication I was on by my doctor they removed them then told me they was getting adopted out cause grandparents have no rights in the state of Tennessee I truly believe this law needs to be changed there is over 700 or more kids in tn watering on a watering list to be adopted out kids are dieing while in DCS and Helen Ross Mcnabb custody please ever one sign this petition lets get our rights backREPORT COMMENTS

My grandchildren was took and the rights of the parents where took they didn't give family a chance my oldest was sent to live with his papa he will be 18 soon my 15 yr old they r letting go live with my mom there is a 9 yr old and a 13 yr old we haven't seen in 4 yrs the older to can be sent home we r good enough for them but not the younger children we don't have. Money for a Lawer and at the termination hearing the judge set there and slept Dcs has treated us bad they tore ur family apart the family will never be the same without the younger kids I need help just don't no where to go..REPORT COMMENTS

My husband and I have been fighting with TN DCS for the last 4 months. My daughter has 2 children one day will be 4 on July the other is 4 months. We raised the 4 year old from birth, but when she had the 2nd one she was on subutex like her Dr told her to do, but when she gave birth to the last one. They took both children even knowing that we had raised the one since birth. They never once offered th to any of the family Although my husband and I had had the oldest since birth. We are all maternal grand parents to both kids. My husbands brother does do foster care and they would not even call and ask any of the family of they wanted them. My daughters whole family wants them. We are not bad ppl. My brother is FBI my husband's brother is a fireman and also national guard his sister is a guidance counselor at the high school. There is no reason what so ever for our grand children to be in state's custody at all The 4 year old keeps saying he is sorry and will be good Papa Nana I want to go home So to me that's cruel and he is vomiting because of his nerves and they know all this and still want let him come stay with any family Can anyone help us??? Grandparents should be able to get thier grandchildren in the CPS takes they from thier parents. Its not the grandparents fault if the children are took out of the parents home. As a grandparent i love my grandbabies more than anything. I would not let any harm come to them. I would not allow the parents to have contact if the court deemed it necessary. But the childern need thier family that cares about them and has cared for them. Tennesse should not have the right to take childern from the grandparents and put them in foster care or adopt them out to other people. That is wrong and something needs to be done about this situationsituation. Grandparents should be the first people looked at to take the childern instead of putting them in state custody. I would like to see the law changed. My grandchildren are in foster care. The first caseworker said once she had my petition I could visit my grandchildren. Then the DCS office in Knoxville changed caseworker, this caseworker has ignored many of my emails asking for a visit. When my daughter visits I speak with them on the phone, they want to see me. DCS should be held accountable for the things they do that is so wrong. I thought it's about what is the best for the children???? My daughter and I have had a huge argument. I'm afraid I may never see my grandson again. He is 3 1/2 and he was bornon my birthday. I cut the umbilical cord and stayed in the hospital 24/7 for 10 days after while he was in the NICU at Children's. My mother died 8 weeks ago and I recently learned my daughter used Moms credit cards $45,000 and mom cosigned for her carwhich was repossessed and loan included previous car loan $42,000. She then went to my moms and took everything she wanted. She was told nothing could be taken till will finished probate and I would be going first as designated in the will. I would get her the items mom willed her. But me and my brother were the only beneficiaries. She did it anyway. This is a big fight as I just found out about debt. Now the condo is pretty much raped. I ignored seeing the stuff at her home so I could see the kids granddaughters 11 months. But when her bf decided to tell ME hoe it was going to be, I said F U. I may haveto fight to see them.
