I am 51 years olds and on disability. I am a diabetic with leg problems. I have a hard time getting around without the use of a cane or a walker. I only get 912 a month from ssi and my wife is a sub. at a local school. She doesn't work that much so we barely make ends meet.. We are the care givers of are daughters grandson until she can get him back. We have no running vehicle to get around for doctor visit, the store, etc., etc. . We really need a car badly. We would appreciate any help we could get. Thank you very much! -

I am a single mother on public assistance going back to school full time and seeking part time Employment. We live in the country (me and my son) where there is no bus line for miles. I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and it has been a struggle and I have a back injury from my last job and I am in need of a vehicle so that I may get back and forth to school starting September 14 2015 and so I may seek part-time employment being my state assistance is going to run out soon. I am currently in mental health counseling and Public housing through Housing Authority of Snohomish County currently residing in the Lake Stevens area and want a life for me and my son. I want to be able to set a good example for my son and show him we can make it on our own. Please consider my family for the free vehicle as I am in desperate need and can not afford one on state income of $420 a month and a single mother who doesn't receive any child support since my child was 3 yrs old he is now 12 yrs old. I need a vehicle to be successful. My study is Network Systems Administration (Associate of Applied Science) ("Program") I am going for my Associates Degree and then I will follow that and get my Bachelors degree. Having a car is a must in order for all my plans to work out and to be able to get back on our feet. Thank You so much.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm a pregnant single low income mom trying to get help with getting a car for my needs and for my unborn child. I have always been able to provide for myself I bought a new car in 2012 1yr old started to have issues with it that weren't cheap and long story short I had a ex boyfriend and my dad fix it and well they blew up the engine and I couldn't pay the money to fix it. I am in a recovery based Program and I need to be able to have a car to get to doctor an to store and get around. Please I'm begging you to be someone that I haven't ever seen before in my life that is willing and able to get my prayers answered by god. Hi I am a 51 year old grandmother who is raising her gradaughter. I made my career providing geriatric services to the elderly for 30 years. I was very caring and compassionate to the residents that I provided care for.In June of last year I was diagnosed with a disease called transversemyleitis which causes you to be paralyzed. I have nurses that come into my home to cook and provide my care.I am thankful to God that I am no longer paralyzed from the neck down, but I have limited mobility throughout my body which is why I require around the clock nursing care.My doctor thought it would be a good idea for me to try physical therapy in hope that this would help me to gain more mobility to my body.Unfortunately there are no transportation services that will provide rides to therapy appointments. You have to be legally blind,, pregnant, Or under the age of 21. These are just a few of the stipulations. I have named. Therefore I am in desperate need of a van with a wheelchair lift on it.Please help, Thank you and God Bless.REPORT COMMENTS

My rent a month cost less to save money meet a spend down each month cost is 497.00 every months. Credit messd up,no way on income to save down payment, have no real assests but household items. This isn't right in a country like USA. There a lot people in need. I'm disabled single parent of a 4year old daughter and we are financially strapped and barely making ends meet. I applied for TANF and they said I don't qualify. Living off disability check that goes to the rent and some household bills.I've tried everything to get help to no avail. I NEED dependable transportation because I have to get to doctors appointments for me and my daughter. I have spinal injuries from neck down from a car accident in April 2007.I have scoliosis, fibromyalgia, nerve damage, herniated and bulging disks, degenerative disk disease, tmj, spinal stenosis, neoralgia, sciatica, major anxiety, manic depression, panic attacks and many more problems. I NEED to go to doctor appointments and therapy.I NEED a fully functional working vehicle to not only get to doctors appointments and therapy but I need to get to food banks and church. I've done volunteer work on my good days.but can't anymore because I don't have a vehicle and desperately NEED one.I NEED to be able to get around and do things for my daughter. PLEASE help us. Long story short my vehicle was stolen june 29th 2014 the guy was arrested but also with other chargesmore serious causing him to get time served for my car and hes serving 4 yrs in prison for robbery therefore I get no restitution or any closure. I lost my job and was forced to obtain food asistance due to this! At the time I was homeless. Now I am still struggling and my granny who raised me is very ill with alzheimers and I am unable to visit her like id like and it kills me everyday. My daughter is in need of a car, her other car is shot. She is a single mom has 2 kids with rent to pay and food, but not enough for a car. Who can afford fiance payments 250.00-300.00 a month. With full coverage insurance and paying bills since jobs wont pay but above min. wage oh wow! And the mechanic shops in this country are dishonest, or they charge an arm and a leg for working on your vehicle, or they do more damage to the vehicle than before you even took it in to them. I just hope Congress will look into this matter. There are needy families all over the country that do need a free car. People need to start having a bigger heart that being filled with greed. Disabled living on a fixed income with no vehicle is brutal in a county that has high cost of living. Can't save for a clunker, much less a down payment for a new car. Won't qualify anyway. Car was taken to junk yard a year ago and no way to buy another on a small fixed income. No freedom to go anywhere. Must beg for rides to the grocery store and they are tired of me asking. Friends are limited. Can't visit family at all as it is a 60 mile round trip with limited transportation. Everyone got money to send overseas to help other countries, but there are homeless and disabled people in the USA and a lot of us can't get any help with a vehicle. If a person is single and childless, forget getting any kind of help at all. Unbelievable!REPORT COMMENTS
