Why are these horses (that have been free roaming the base for decades) suddenly a danger to the trainees? Are they removing all the wildlife (snakes, deer) or just the horses? Do they think someone's going to clear all the "nuisance animals" out of the way when they are sent overseas to a war zone?

These horses are part of military history. They should stay. If removed they must be provided sanctuary in another area free from the chance of slaughter.

Leave this part of our National History to remain. They do not deserve to be mistreated for someones gain.

These horses have as much right to be left alone as anyone or anything else. Leave them where they are.

I email Ft. Polk US Army my questions and comments and never heard any reply. With over 600,000 acres in Kisatchie Forest, I believe it is in the best interest of everyone to relocate these historic horses there rather than tearing apart families and taking the chance they will end up at auction or slaughter. Please do the humane thing.
