UoP kept calling me over and over promising the moon and the stars. I kept turning them down and finally I gave in. Now I am stuck with close to 50K in student loans and a worthless degree. They lied every step of the way

I have $35,000 in debt from them and have no degree. I definitely know I was defrauded provided false information and was never aware that these degrees were useless and after you get the degree you'll have to pay more to another school in order to make that phony degree valid. I submitted the forms for the forgiveness they still haven't approved one application. I've made complaints with the FTC, Department of Education, The Attorney Generals Office of Arizona, The BBB and I've never received any correspondence on this issue other than templeted letters or emails. I want to sue all entities in this matter as there has been no sufficient follow up to students claims or thoughts of suffering we are having due to this fraudulent activity. Theyve been found guilty of fraud and are allowed to have the innocent pay for their criminal activity and have no direct I formation available on how to sue them. If anyone has information on how legal action can be taken please contact me.

I was very clear when signing up with UoP that I wanted to get a degree so I could work in the field of Biology one day. My counselor, named Cameron, advised me to continue in Criminal Justice that, those are the classed I would need. I have a Bachelor's degree in something that I never ever could use, and was lied to and led on for years. I had to start ALL over from scratch and pay for a new degree from a local school. This is not fair at all that I am stuck with $80k in student loan fees for a degree that is trash and cannot be used. Thank you

I owe $103,000+ because of this school. I get rejected immediately whenever I apply anywhere. I've even been laughed at when I apply somewhere and they see where I went to school. And not only that, but I signed up for the IBR plan through Navient and now interest is just accruing daily. Even if they do "forgive" these debts, the government needs to see that if we can't pay that, we can't pay taxes on $103,000.

I attended UOP in 2016.. they put me in a class for a Bachelors Degree when I was in the Associate Program. While taking this class I struggled from the beginning and called to drop the class and no one would answer. So after doing the best I could do in the class to making a 37% from day one to finishing at a 65% I then had a balance to UOP for the class I failed and was not supposed to be in from the jump. After so long and the Financial Aid office telling me that the remaining from my student loans has to be paid back for the class I failed in order to continue, I did not finish with this school because everything was wrong with this situation. Due to the balance I was not able to retrieve my transcript in order to transfer my credits. This was wrong from the beginning and I tried to dispute the balance with them and no one wanted to listen. Well I ended up having to pay that balance so I can regain my transcript so that I was not starting over in a new school. After paying the money and getting my transcript I then ask about my Certificate of Completion for my IT courses that I took and that lead on to me paying another $50.00 to get... they are money hungry people and you do not learn what you need in he 5 weeks you take the courses. I will not want my worst enemy to go here because its more stress for the student with the offices than the courses. Please beware of this school because they take your money and add false reason for you to owe money to them.

I acquired a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and my degree is useless from UoP. Employers do not take this degree serious at all. Not to mention that I now owe $78000 in student loans and do not even have my diploma in my hand. My financial advisor was maxing out my loans and not taking into consideration any grants I was awarded. Eight classes before graduation I was told I owed the school just under $10000 and had to make a payment plan or I couldn't finish my classes. I paid what I could and was allowed to walk across the stage. I feel like my debt should be removed since I have a degree that is not taken serious by any employer.

I got my Masters of Science in Psychology through UoP and while my employers did not laugh at this, but it took two years after graduating to find a job to begin with when the school guaranteed employment immediately. Another issue I have with them is that they did not tell me I needed an internship in order to become a licensed therapist. Finally, they change WAY too much and now owe over $100,000 in loans. I hope this considered fraud and our debts can be erased and UoP pays the government back for us.

They are a fraud and most companies laugh now when they see what college I have graduated from. They pretty much bullied me into signing up and wouldn't stop calling me until finally one day I listened to what they had to say next thing I know I was being sent information on starting in which I did not request. They are true con-artists they sold me the dream as to why i should go with them and no one else. Im unable to use my degree because companies won't give me the time or day so I am not able to gain any experience. I even tried volunteer services through the department of labor and licensing here in my state and the list of companies they provided me with that take people out of college and provide them with experience through volunteer wouldn't even give me the time of day. I tried this for one year until I finally gave up. It was a waste of time and money and needless to say they never verified if I had a high school diploma or G.E.D. This school needs to be shut down there are so many school out there that are more credible I recommend people do their research before signing up for this school its going on six years and I am nowhere with this degree and owing $80,000 for a bachelors that is useless.

I am being told that I owe almost $5,000 to them. A portion of this for a class that I dropped and they are saying that I did not. I am trying to get my Official Transcripts to transfer to a different college to finish my final year. I owe a huge amount in student loans for the 3 years of school that I attended through UOP and many of the classes won't transfer. Therefore, I decided to cut my losses with UOP and transfer to a college with program that is accredited and will give me a degree that will further my career.

I was told by a representative of the University of Phoenix that my credits would transfer to my local community college and/or UTC. When I finally transferred, they did not accept any of my credits except for English Composition II in the place of English Composition I. So I still had to retake English Composition II. I had taken 8 course from that school and racked up a $20,000 bill for credits that were essentially useless to me! It is extremely unfair to have been mislead in $20,000!! I do not feel that I should have to pay.

My Master's degree has proven to be useless coming from this school. I have not been able to obtain my career goals or even close to them. I cannot land a respectable job. I worked very hard for my degree and was lied to constantly. I was told when I had my bachelor's that employers we're giving me opportunities because they prefer to see a Master's degree or higher. They convinced me that if I went back to obtain my Master's then I would have a much easier time getting career opportunities. That was a lie. My financial lender kept changing and University of Phoenix assured me that this was lawful. Now I owe $130,000 in student loans and I cannot even earn the type of money that is being asked for monthly in addition to my living expenses. I have never been able to land a position using my degrees from here. I feel discouraged and humiliated. I thought I was on the right track gaining higher education and now I've come to realize that was my biggest mistake... at least from the University of Phoenix it was. I have had the same opportunities that i would've had without my Master's degree.

While being walked through the application i was told the school was heavily accredited and how easy it would be to get a fresh start on life. They knew i was unemployed for over a year, and very poor education, i didn't even know what a reference on an assignment was. I know now, I worked hard and got a bachelor in accounting. However, potential employers don't care what i learned because the school is not accredited and employers won't give me an opportunity to work in what i studied. Now the student debt i acquired under false statements has made everything worse.. It is painful

My GI bill was utilized to its full potential about two months ago and I was sold into taking out a loan to cover my classes. Now they are telling me that I cant start my next class without paying $800 out of pocket, even though I've taken out the loans to cover the tuition. Needless to say, my Pell Grant money has been mysteriously missing and I cant account for some of the federal monies that was supposed to be disbursed to me. I am now 18K in debt for classes I haven't taken yet. In addition to that, I cant begin class anywhere else. All I wanted to do was further my education :-(

I am highly frustrated and discouraged with UOP creditbility. Also service provider Navient! I completed a Bachelor's in Business Management 2012 and a Master's Business Administration 2014. After my Bachelor's degree UOP talked me into staying for graduate degree. Over my time at UOP I had no stable assistance due to high turn over rate in the administration. I had a different financial aid counselor ever year and no academic counselor. Since my employer was assisting with tution and UOP was in the same office complex it was convenient to continue attending UOP. UOP promised better job opportunities and network of employers that recognize UOP as a nationally accredited institution. Once I graduated there was no further assistance or communication as they promised a huge successful alumni network. Only communication I received was a reminder when to pay my tuition 80k for Bachelors which I started to stop and not attend MBA program. UOP talked me into joining the MBA program in Business would yield atleast a 15% pay increase over a Bachelors degree. Needless to say, all the promises were false and reality hits such as career placement or even finding a job. Many organization turned down employment saying I didnt have enough experience when I met all employment requirements for experience but educational background was clearly the issue. I have been routinely overlooked by individuals with less experience and education. So this is highly depressing when you are starring 100k in loans directly in the face! Navient is no better. They routinely and quick to put your account into forbearance. Navient will not answer any questions or provide an approval or denial letter for income based repay. They sent an email requesting higher than usual payment. I make 40k a year and Navient wants me to pay $700 a month. I was eligible for one year of income base repay and made every payment. After a year payment change without any notice. This is unacceptable and basically economically immoral. I call you get no answer, Navient calls while at work, I answer the phone and the recording puts you on hold. Once I finally spoke with someone directly after they called me. I voiced my concern and that is when he told me that I was declined for income base repay. The agent requested I file for another program and put my account into forbearance. At this rate I will never be able to pay my student loans!
