Teachers don't have control over the social issues that affect student performance.

This bill will drive good teachers out of the classrooms. Our kids will pay the price if this goes through. I think people are forgetting that without elementary, middle, and high school teachers there will be no lawyers, doctors, presidents, etc... This needs to be stopped before Florida schools are devasted!

Wake up Florida! Time to get the right people up there in Tallahassee. Those that care for everyone not just their own agendas!

This Florida bill is demoralizing to educators, students and anyone who thinks that America is a place where there is freedom and justice for all.

These teachers here in Florida are paid poorly and required to have more degrees and certifications than most states paying more money. My daughter can't even pay back the loans from her Master's with the horrible salary she got to get that degree. Now they want to make it even harder for a teacher to make teaching their career. There a very very few teachers that don't have 2 or 3 other jobs just to make ends meet.

The proposed legislation does not do justice to the effort and hard work we daily do to educate our students in Miami-Dade Public Schools. The legislation in question make me think that our representatives do not know and are not in touch with today's societal issues and the diversity of students in our classrooms. I'm ashamed of having such representation in our state government. These legislations and proposals greatly degress our educational institutions. Sincerely yours, Mr. JoselĂn Cabrera
