I don't feel the government has the right to take away treatment for Cancer. We know that the government people don't have to worry about being on Medicare. But for us that do, it's not fair to just let us die for no reason. Cancer treatment should be same for all.Feb 4th, 2010Someone from Cedar City, UT writes:
We can't afford to cut payments for Medicare and Medicaid patients. To have the disease is horror enough - to deny treatments is unGodly and cruel. Are we becoming another Hitler run country? If we start with this, where will we stop?REPORT COMMENTS

we had 8 years of george bush,i think we had enough crooks in the white house. i think it's time to kick everyone of them out starting with obama. as for his health bill anyone who votes for it has done an act of treason against the america people.all obama did since he got in office was to give money to the rich and leaving the middle class hanging. it's time to throw out the trash and clean up the united states government from all the thieves in office. impeach that traitor who claims to be the president.REPORT COMMENTS

Most people on Medicare cannot afford supplemental insurance as they are on a fixed income. Do not let their health care become substandard and fail them. Why would anyone want to limit or even deny cancer treatments to Medicare patients? This is insane and it CANNOT happen..REPORT COMMENTS

Despite what is said, our country's health care system is not broken. I am extremely satisfied with my health care plan and do not want it changed. Fix only those aspects that need help, like tort reform so doctors and hospitals can reduce charges due to lower insurance rates. I don't mind helping the unfortunate that can't afford health care, but I don't want to pay for bums who refuse to work and illegal aliens that don't belong in our country. It is way past time Congress used common sense in this matter.REPORT COMMENTS

This new proposal by CMS is simply a sample of the many lies used to sell the government takeover of our health care. We were told that the government would not interfere with the doctor patient relationship- but what is this except bureaucratic decisions inserted in place of the doctor's? Congress claimed that they did not create death panels - these unelected bureaucrat panels that determine who gets what kind if health care may not be called death panels, but that is EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE! Our elected officials love to be called honorable, but there needs to be some integrity in their statements and actions and a willingness to uphold their oaths of office before they EARN the title of HONORABLE! I am sick and tired of Congress and the federal government in general.REPORT COMMENTS

It is time for our congress to listen to their constituents. It is time for the Federal Government get out of trying to take away from me the right to make my own decisions concerning my medical treatment. If you REALLY want to reform medical care, then allow all insurers to compete in every state without govt overseeing and reform the laws limiting outrageous medical law suits. You can do both these things without spending $B's, and increase competition and lower costs. Please stop spending money you (I/we) don't have. in higher costs and fewer services. I am totally against Abortion. being paid by taxpayers.REPORT COMMENTS

Cutting Medicare (which is already in trouble) by $B's, and adding millions more subscribers can only result in higher costs and fewer services. Do you really expect us to believe that you can do this without spending more. We are not stupid.............it is time for you to listen to the people who elected you!!!REPORT COMMENTS
