Why should criminals have more justice than families? no one person can see all the angles that may be envolved in a case. The diversity a jury or panel would offer would greatly reduce the instances of injustice to our human, civil, and constitutional rights

family court has utter disregard for the constitutional rights of those before them. No regard for the law, procedure, civil process and this doesn't change if you have an attorney either. (they're on the same team) it's time to stop claiming that such violations are directed to only "fathers" or only to "mothers". This is not only false, it draws attention away from the real wrong doers - THE JUDGES AND ALL THE COURT OFFICIALS THAT PLAY ALONG SIDE OF THEM. As long as we continue to present the issues in that way, lawmakers and the general public will not grasp the genuine reality of the criminal conduct that has consumed the family courts. REMEMEBER - United we stand, divided we fall (on deaf ears) It's time for Mothers & Fathers to join as a team and declare war on the family courts. Remember, your ex-wives and husbands might have played dirty, did you wrong and so on, but don't forget that the real error is with the court for allowing them to get away with it. It doesn't take a law degree to spot sleezy behavior. Family court should be run by Jury's and all hearings and trials should be publicized on television. Yes, it's reached that point. Judges behave the way they do because no one is watching

This should be of very high priorty. The damage being done to our children will affect our society for generations. This sort of thing snowballs! We know without a doubt the general public would be outraged if they know what is going on and they are funding this crime with our tax dollars!!!

It is readily apparent, the Emancipation Proclamation does not apply to the family courts, My Constitutional right not to be indentured has been blatantly violated. How is it is this day and age, The US Government says Equality for all, except men in divorce situations. Why is it that we are legally obligated to support children only until the reach the age of 18, yet we are forced to support an able bodied adult for the remainder of their life?

Alimony is not only a male burden. I've been paying my ex-husband for years only to now go to court and have the magistrate 'UP' my payments. I work 60+ hours a week now to support a man who works 40 hours a month. Never in my life did I expect to be in this position.

Lifetime alimony (not allowed in all States) is just another form of extortion and monetary bounty with no consideration to the one having to pay. Even after equal distributions of marital assets, the courts only see numbers and formulas in determining a monthly payment amount and cannot distinguish between what was accumulated or developed before versus during the marriage. The privileged lifestyle (even if extravagant) of the receiver in the courts eyes must stay consistent with no regards toward the one that pays marital contributions/sacrifices, greatly diminished lifestyle, changing health conditions, diminishing financial situation and increasing age. A situation that both parties would have to face and readjust to if the marriage was still intact. Permanent alimony is a cancer injected into the one that pays which eats at their motivation, health, financial stability and sanity, thus leading to more often than not to a premature death sentence. Even at that point a court order life insurance policy will keep the payment s coming. The courts really don?t have a concern with treating both parties equally /fairly or the long term results/effects of their judgments, just about keeping them and their Lawyer friends employed. The court system is not moral or consistent, let?s fix it! Slavery in the USA in 2011 DOES exist!!! It's called Life Time Alimony. Mine was in the state of Florida (Hillsborough County). I have nothing against a reasonable amount of support for a reasonable length of time... Especially when she is perfectly capable of working. But Lifetime alimony is nothing short of slavery. I am forced to submit TO MY EX WIFE, a monthly notarized financial affadavit AND monthly job searches that I submit to unemployment. I have to submit to her because she is her own attorney. She doesn't even need an attorney because the court does all the work for her at no cost. I on the other hand have been paying thousands to have attorney to represent and fight a battle that she's already won. (I am being punished for getting out of a very abusive relationship with not much more than my life! Can't even call it a marriage! I left the marriage with just my 401 K... This life time alimony is taking most of that (@ 30% penalty.)between legal fees and keeping up with alimony. I want my life back!

Men's rights are being violated every day in the anti-family courts in NJ. the state should not be in the business of marriage and divorce. Whoever heard of the insanity of having to support an ex spouse til "death do you pay"?

being made to pay alimony has the effect as being fined for breaking the law. but it is decided on the whim of the judge, in my case a magistrate. what law did i break? even a fine has a definite amount. being forced to pay spousal support is indefinite. the amount being decided by a judge who has no guidelines to go by.

I got married at a very young age in another state at a church where I did not sign the marriage certificate, but the Minister signed my name and we said vows to each other which mean nothing in court. At that time I never knew or heard about alimony as my legal knowledge was from watching TV as I was made to believe that the courts protect the innocent.. I thought we were life partners since she was the person that pressured me into getting married & had everything set up for marriage. Years later I come home from work and she was gone; living with a boyfriend that does not work, is a habitual convicted felon, drug dealer addict, alcohol abuse with a long criminal record. To my shock, Florida is a no-fault state where everything I had worked for, half was given to them by the Judge, plus lump sum alimony and permanent alimony. I was ordered to pay her Attorney fee's or be incarcerated. The judge did not care about about anything. It takes 2 to marry & 1 to divorce. I never signed anything for the divorce with no minor children as the Judge signed the final. They have been together for 13 years so far. The Judge does not have to follow laws in their decision as my Attorney told me. The family court is the only system where the innocent is sentence for life time support of a cheating, lying ex-spouse & her new live-in lover. Garnishment is to provide her a better lifestyle then during our marriage with no consideration of my ability to support myself. On top of that, since my income did not provide the full garnishment, I owe money. I wish I knew about the law in family court before I got married. I could go on, but the system is corrupt without a doubt.Getting married ruin my life with no chance to retire. I go to work each day to keep from going to jail for contempt as both of them don't work in order to collect. Getting Alimony is like winning the lottery and much better then any retirement fund. Yes she got half my retirement and I can never retire as planned. (so far I have never been in jail but both of them have by breaking laws because of fault in criminal law as no-fault law does not apply).

Abolish court ordered life time alomony. This unconstitutional mandate vilotaes the constitution on many fronts and places the payee under the jursidiction of the state court system for life!!

Hillsborough County family court is corrupt, unfair, bias and it's judges some of the worst in the Country when it comes to equal rights. It's like the make it up as you go. I left the state after my ex-wife continued to file false charges against me and the court system did nothing to stop her. That place sickens me even though i was raised there and my ex wife is not even a citizen of the US.

No other organization can blatantly violate our constitutional rights and get away with it, I thought slavery had ended with emancipation, until I became divorced, I now know, there are still slaves in America and I am one of them

With the judges not answering to anyone and allowed to make law from the bench, we the people do need change. In our case, the District Court, in Missouri, the judge change the judgment 15 months after it was decreed. The system definitely needs overhauling and some dis-barring needs to take place.

Court rulings based on the discretion of the judge are absurd. I would like the same rights as a criminal and know the consequences of divorce and how the decision was reached. We need to systemize this system NOW!
