Way past due to end this law! These guys are totally taking advantage of us now. They are coming by the boat loads every single week - especially since Obama decided to open up Cuban goverment relations. Mostly to their own benifit. Once that was decided, well then it should have made wet foot dry foot obsolete! I am tired of paying for these guys when they are living better than I am! I work hard for my money and it makes me sick to know they are living off it for free! Not fair to any other immigrant in the world who has to go through the normal legal process. Repeal this law now!

I was born in Cuba and came to the USA via freedom flights in 1968 when I was 10 years old. Most Cubans coming to America now are just looking for a better way of life, just like many other people from many other countries. It is not fair for Cubans to be treated differently from other immigrants.

There are not enough jobs or extra benefits for U.S citizens. Allowing immigrants to come daily by the dozens is ultimately hurting our society.

Most Cubans that are coming here are being smuggled, which is a criminal act and they come here for economical reasons and not because of communism. Therefore, all immigrants should be held by the same standards, they are all coming here for the same economic reasons and it's not fair that Cubans get special treatment.

This has to end! They are coming over here everyday. Stop giving them benefits that we have worked so hard for and I guarantee that they will stop coming over here. What's taking you so long to end this wet foot dry foot game? Maybe we as Americans should leave and allow these thieves to run this country. They have not contributed anything to our country but they are reaping the benefits. Something is wrong with this picture. Coastguards wake up and stay alert. How do we know whether or not they didn't bring the zika virus over here.

Absolutely disagree with this damn dry foot wet foot law. It has sucked up billions of u.s dollars. These cubans get the U.S perks and benefits many, world wide immigrants, die for. Many who come from far worst situations: acid, bomb, war attacks etc....What war is going on in Cuba? None! All of these "balseros" emerging come here with jewelry, heavyweight / healthy weight, iphones, laptops etc! What is the Coast Guard doing when these cubans are arriving by the boat loads???? Waving 'hi' as they pass by in open seas???? If all these cubans are arriving how much illegal drugs are also reaching U S.A soil that we don't know about? Good Job Clinton administration! My hard earned money pays for their "expedited u.s residency and thousand dollards in food stamps/walfare/government programs" Awesome fail! Not to mention all of the same benefited cubans flying back home after one year of residency with filled up luggage's for family members. Or living in cuba while they have a friend or family member depositing for them the walfare checks and the unemployment moneys. Or if they retire here, go back to Cuba and have their retirements money drafted to Cuba. Is that just? Fair? True U.S Culture? Poor Cubans: they 'suffer' so much that they are gping back!

now that the embargo has been lifted and tourism dollars flowing to Cuba, there is no reason to continue this policy which only encourage breaking our laws and rewarded it.

The situation with the cuban immigration abusing the wet/dry foot policy has opened the road for what can be easily described as a human trafficking mafia, and a beast that must be cut off at the head immediately. For years the cubans have been taking advantage of our US hospitality and our willingness to help. Fifty years ago it may have been the right thing to do, but political numbness and blatant coast guard blindness has allowed this wrath of influx not only to overtake our very own localized support services, but now it seems as if these immigrants expect to be treated like long term Americans as they enter into our country with, at best, muddy and dusty feet. Its gotten to the point that American family members cannot get work in the local area because they are filled with under the table paid immigrants from cuba that don't pay any taxes but, use our natural resources, educational resources and are abusing our internal infrastructures for their personalized gains, that are eventually later heavily pumped back into their originating communist country, all while, our great state of Florida runs dry and the very Americans that helped, become second class citizens in their own state. A family member was not granted a educational loan in southern Florida because she worked at Mcdonalds and retail, on minimum wage and income, meanwhile a cuban immigrant with no verifiable income and no english or American education, was accepted, had classes paid for and put into class within days, this is not only absurd, its totally careless to the Americans of Florida and reduces the American character advantage to the level of lawless third world activity. Enough is enough! This form of immigration mafiaism has to be stopped and we can begin by immediately investigating the illegalities behind the policy to strike down the abusers and quickly, set up the motions toward removing this defunct and out of date cuban immigration policy.

Enough is Enough I served in the US Army for 32 years and retired. Move to south Florida so that I came spend time with both my parents which I have not in the past. On arriving I tried to gain employment with two master degrees and military school plus training could not accomplish because I do not speak Spanish. Another problem is that the wet foot dry foot gets us citizenship very easy with less waiting time as other immigrant's. I was summons for court duty. The room had 40 people that arrive and at the end I felt I was alone because over 30 individuals do not speak English. So how did they receive citizenship and how can they live up to the obligation of being a citizen to include military duty if the draft returns? A dog coming from Cuba on a boat gets more medical care than I do after serving this great nation of ours for over 32 years. So please stop the wet foot dry foot and lets be far to our veterans and citizens that can attend jury duty. Make it mandatory for south Florida language is English due to the laws are in English. Other States Spanish speaking people had to learn English but not south Florida. We have people here for 40 years that do not speak one word of English. Again enough is enough and the tax payers are paying over a billion of dollars per year on wet foot dry foot benefits. Chris

This is a policy no longer needed. This rise of Cuban immigrants is too high, especially in the past few weeks. It is highly unfair to the many children who work at hard and have to rely on the DACA, while these people get immediate status and benefits for free.

While I agreed this was a good tool, Several years ago, I feel it's a total disrespect to our country, seeing how this law has been the mockery of our governments shortcoming. The system is being abuses for the max and we need to end this as soon as possible.

The free flow of Cubans and other immigrants is bleeding our coffers dry, and they've done NOTHING to earn it. They only contribute crime, scams, and urban blight. I can't get a job because I don't speak THEIR language - WTF Congress !!!! I drove a business delivery from Ft. Lauderdale to Homestead 3 years ago, and stopped at 6 gas stations after crossing the Miami-Dade line, and not one attendant spoke English. It's no wonder Trump became popular so quickly, AMERICA HAS HAD ENOUGH of this Wet Foot Dry Foot Policy. Make immigration fair for all entrants, and require them to learn mandatory English and contribute to society in exchange for what they are given. And stop giving them their entrance test in a foreign language, it's ridiculous ! FREEDOM ISN'T FREE CONGRESS !!! The rest of us work for it, so can they !!!
