Purposely torturing innocent animals is unacceptable for ANY REASON. To witness another living being screaming in pain and have no remorse, no regard and worse, continue its suffering is sadistic psychopathic behavior. These are countries and places we do business with. They do not do this because they are hungry, they do it to cause suffering. We can not stay silent. These animals need our help. -

If these people could witness several of those horrifying videos that we see, maybe they would believe us. They stick their heads in the sand, ( or, any other orifice they have) and pretend it doesn`t happen !! Well, if any house members are reading this, I say yes, it DOES happen, DAILY !! And, the precious animals are being subjected to unimaginable torture and agony !! They are being skinned, boiled, roasted and/or pressed while ALIVE and CONSCIENCE !!!!!! They are being electrocuted, skulls are smashed, and throats slashed !!!! They have their feet and legs chopped of to prevent their attempts to escape the oncoming horror!!! Plus, they can not even scream, as they have their mouths tied shut !!!!!!!!! This is totally unbelievable and absolutely unacceptable !! These animals are NOT FOOD !! They are our beloved companions !! The torture and horrid deaths that these creatures go through is of nightmare proportions !!! Have any of you had a dog or cat in your lives that you dearly loved ?? Well, think about that animal being slaughtered and eaten by people that have no compassion toward living beings and their feelings of pain and terror !! Please support or co-sponsor House Resolution 30. It is a beginning to put political pressure on the Chinese government to stop the Yulin Dog Festival in China. The nightmare of torture and killing happens in other countries such as South Korea, Vietnam and other Asian areas but this is the start to end the dog meat trade in a focal well publicized festival and hopefully will spread. Dog meat traders attempted to have a free dog meat soup festival in South Korea and many dogs had already been killed, but with all the backlash and pressure to stop it, the Mayor of the city cancelled the event. So pressure on the government seems to be the most effective way to have an influence. They need to know that the world is watching and judging them by their actions. Also Mr. President Obama traveled to Vietnam last months and knew about Formosa. Recently Vietnam was flooded everywhere. Food factories got dirty and had rats.
