For me it is not about the money. It is the fact that NPR is a liberal engine for bringing in more voters. Attack after attack on Trump followed by a puff piece on Obama. I have enjoyed listening to NPR for decades to get access to excellent journalism. Over the last three years I have noticed an alarming shift from objectivity covering topics to journalists flat out saying this is my personal opinion/agenda on this topic and it is OK because although yesterday I was a journalist for NPR as of today I am now a "consultant" (Cokie Roberts). So now NPR gives that "consultant" more air time than some of their journalists and definitely more air time than any other "consultant". Do the executives think I will not notice or question this blatant breach of my trust in them to produce quality objective reporting. As of the presidential election coverage this year I now consider nonobjective NPR a sibling of MSNBC. Very disappointing journalism this year. Just yesterday a journalist presented a sloppy attempt to persuade me that the problems faced by undocumented children in the USA stem from President Trump supporters who I am not one of (forgetting to mention their parent who refuses to take any responsibility for their involvement). If you have been following public radio since the 90's you may remember the huge push during Clinton/Bush administrations to remove any differentiation between being Caucasian and Latino as if they are one and the same in order to enable making racial profiling illegal by any public employee/healthcare provider which NPR was on board with. Yet yesterday NPR aired several self described latino women differentiating themselves from white people. Liberal agenda execs must be more careful in the future or "White Trump Supporters" may use your own words to undo much of the hard work of your predecessors.REPORT COMMENTS

I used to be an avid fan and supporter of PBS and NPR thinking they were not influenced by any particular corporation or entity. Then I started to see a trend of "progressive" programming and then straight out Liberal Democrat Party horse-hooey and I became outraged.
