I fully believe that people who do this to children should be put to death. They like what they like and they don't feel remorse for what they have done. Why would we as parents give them an opportunity to do it again. If they have done it once they will do it again. We are the ones who pay to take care of these monsters three meals a day and a roof over their heads comes from our taxes and I'm not ok with that. There are harsher punishment for drugs than people who hurt our children that's just ridiculous remove the threat and maybe some will think twice.REPORT COMMENTS

As a long time victim of sexual abuse I have to say I dont agree with this. A large portion of sexual abuse is by a family member. I believe if this was to become law it would prevent alot of people from coming foward as it would enpower the abuser for an abusive farther to have the ability to say to his daughter 'if you tell anyone then daddy will be killed' it is in no way fair to the victim to put another persons life in there hands. I understand that victims often have the 'ruined my life' attitude but I would hate for the life of another person, no matter the crime to be in the balance and I honestly would not have come foward if this was the case.REPORT COMMENTS

If we believe that sexual orientation is a born trait, why would we believe rehabilitation can work on these people? People who rape and molest prepubescent children are broken in a way we can't fix. Letting them live allows them to replay the fantasies in their heads for the rest of their lives and even the faintest hope of being able to do it again brings them a pleasure they should not be allowed to feel.
