My name is Joyce Jones my kids was removed from me because I my child father jumped on me and sent me into an early labor with my child. All because I I caught him with another woman. I didn't know he sent me into an early labor until I had to be rushed to the hospital. But after the altercation between us I went and used drugs. I blame one one but myself for my mistakes. So when I gave birth to my baby girl they found drugs in not only my system but her system as well. So they removed all four of my children from my home. I complied with DCFS and the courts and did everything they asked of me. I then put my child father on child support and he persuade me to his home to pay me money he owed me. Then he attacked me again. I tried to run him over with my vehicle and was taken to jail. I did eleven months in prison from 08/04/2014 til 06/05/2015 for my mistakes. While in prison the system terminated my parental rights on 04/28/15 even after I asked the courts for an extension because I was getting out soon, they wouldn't. So I went in front of the parole board 05/05/2015. My board results came back 05/19/15. My made the board and was out 06/05/2015. My public defender got me granted an appeal but then withdrawal from my case and left me to do the appeal alone. I have tried everything to get my children back home. While in DHS custody one of my children got a back eye that they tried to cover up and another one of my children hair was relaxed without my permission all of this happened while I still had my rights. My oldest child teeth has been chipped. I have tried somewhat every revenue and still no help. Emails to the Governor's mansion, no help. I have asked legal advice and legal aid no help. I have tried to talk to the Judge and DHS caseworker's still no help. I have did a petition on change.org some one please help us. We are human we all make mistakes. I fought and did what CP's wanted me to do then they used what they wanted me to do against me and convinced the judge to terminate my parent righta . The state tool my two children away from their home ,their happiness, and their mother. And through out my fight told me they wouldn't help me even though I was complying with their demands.REPORT COMMENTS

My rights were terminated 10 yrs ago to my daughter, due to drugs. Now Ive been clean and sober for 7yrs. and I seeked help for me to get her back, and all the lawyers tell me is that there's nothing I can do since she has been adopted by my granmother who will not allow me til this date see her or call her. My grandmother has 2 drug addicts/alcoholics sons who live in the same house with my daughter. One of them hits her all the time. I called CPS to make a report and she didn't do anything about it. I feel hopeless. I would like to get my rights back, I WILL do anything like classes, drug test, anything to show the courts that I deserve a second chance.REPORT COMMENTS

In 2014 the Carroll county Iowa DHS took my 4 kids from me for something my exhusband had done to them while we lived in Ga that I knew nothing about that was going on, not once did they take my kids to the Dr. To check for bruising. I did EVERYTHING that the Iowa DHS told me I needed to do in order to get my kids back, I have all of my papers from the boys town workers that state they see & have no concern with my kids being returned to me & that I'm fit to have them back. I lost my kids almost 2 years ago over false accusations and was profiled from the beginning as a child molester because I have a attempted CSC in the 4th degree (misdemenor) against my wife. There were multiple investigations opened by different cps investigators with allegations of sexual abuse and most were directed at me. After a detective contacted my wife and I about a criminal investigation of child molestation identifing my wife and I as prime subjects, we requested a polygraph test and both passed. 6 days after the court received the results they had an unscheduled hearing terminating our parental rights. Even after losing our kids another cps investigation was opened again acussing me of touching one of our kids. My wife and I were completing the case plan, and doing everything they ask when our kids were completely stripped away from us and furthermore adopted by the foster family who fought us to keep them. I plan on taking our case to a good lawyer and having them review the entire file to show the inconsistency in our case and the foster mom's sister worked for the family court house our case was tried, and they were active adopters. My wife and I have turned our lives around to get stable enough to one day hopefully reunite with our children. This bill could be our only hope.REPORT COMMENTS

I had my kids removed for false allegations, including false petition for removal reasons. I suffered high anxiety and depression to the point of having a seizure one morning before court, I still suffer from this today. For the first year we were cooperating but did not have reliable transportation or phone which caused problems with family service plan stipulations. We were constantly being harassed with repeat cps investigators coming to our home with allegations of abuse both physical and sexual. A detective contacted my husband and I and wanted to questions us on molestation allegations against all of our kids. We asked to take polygraphs both passing. We completed all of our requirements with continued counseling with there provided counselor, we passed all of our drug tests for those 6 months, and even with the proof of not touching our kids 6 days after they received the polygraph tech's report they had an unscheduled court date and terminated our rights. The family that fostered my 4 children were known adopters and one worked in the family court our case was in. We have since moved out of town and began to rebuild a stable home for our kids to hopefully return to. We would like to have our full case reviewed by a lawyer because our case was jeopardized and our children and ourselves were severly tramatized over false pretenses and legal pull. We have a right to be parents to our kids We aren't the irresponsible kids we were.REPORT COMMENTS
