Unfair Child Support
The current child support system is an injustice to families!!
Both parents should have to be able to financially support their children.
They should not rely on child support to pay their rent. Or for their fun spending money. I know a woman who makes 35,000 a year plus collects 1,000 a month for child support on two school age children. She shops constantly and goes on vacations. The father cannot even afford to get his own place. He lives on a friends couch. He’s working two jobs just to be Able to support himself and pay child support obligations. Even on his days with his children he's so tired from always working and has no money to do “fun” things kids want to do because the law gives it all to the mom. Mothers and Fathers are equally important for a child to have.
I also know another guy who pays 900 A month for two school age kids. He has to live with his mom because he can’t afford rent. He doesn’t even have enough left over to pay all his bills and food/gas. He makes 20.00 an hour and can’t support himself due to outrageous child support. Oh and they took his license away too because that really helps, take away something he needs to even get to work. Is this a joke?
Something really needs to change. Please make Child support fair. Both parents matter. Both parents need to live.
If she didn’t have them she would still need a roof over her head and a car, etc. They cannot continue to rely on child support to pay their way through everything while the dad’s struggle to even survive
